I found these to be the perfect replacement for the battery terminals on an Eaton MD-200 scan tool. The original terminals fate succumbed to batteries being left in it. I only wish I could have found the one needed for the other end of the battery compartment. The size of battery compartment: 4 AA batteries, connected in series with two side by side. What's needed now is a double ended terminal of the same type. As an added note, I was able to improvise / adapt these to work.

These battery contacts aren't terrible, and they'll definitely get the job done, but they are noticeably "less" than the name brand 209 contacts. The material is thinner and definitely doesn't hold its shape as well.Out of the box they are more compressed than the name brand, such that they don't make a very solid contact with the battery in designs made for the name brand version. If you try to stretch them to match, they do, but then compress back down to their "to small" size as soon as you install a battery. Not sure if this is true spring steel.These contacts will work, but be prepared to modify any existing designs to get them to.
