I have been using a two handled manual stripper for DIY projects requiring 14AWG and larger stranded or solid conductors, and (embarrassingly) using scissors to strip 24 to 20 gauge silicone insulated wire for small electronics projects. The Yumkiyi automatic wire stripper tool works very well on all the wire types I tried it on. The insulation cutter does not require adjustment (from 10AWG down to 24AWG) on the insulated wires I tried, and the finely stranded conductors were not nicked or cut. Stripping length is adjustable from 1/4" to 1/2" with a small screwdriver adjustment point. The product quality feels sturdy, and the stripping active is pretty solid and quick. Great product at a great price!

While I am far from an electrician, I've rewired Jeeps, a camper, and handled many home renovations. Now I get to add a boat to the list. Man, the ease of stripping the end of the wire...gah. Like butter. Just slip the coated wire into the mouth, apply pressure the handle to have the teeth bite down, then squeeze. The predetermined length of plastic slides off and you're ready to connect ends. However, when you're first starting, practice with scrap wire and whatever connector type you'll be using. This thing BITES and can snap right through the plastic butt connector if you're an idiot and crip too far from the middle like I did...twice. The pressure needed to lock em in place "feels" different than the other crimpers I have. Does that make sense? After a couple connectors you will be able to feel what I mean. Solid purchase.

Makes wire cutting and stripping very easy, I like that it has so many sizes.

The tools are fairly generic, but the quality is pretty good. They get the job done. I like that the crimpers come with numerous dies and are easily interchangeable. And the carrying/storage case is handy, especially given the extra dies would be easy to lose.Minor issue, but I'll point it out: the color coded die is color coded incorrectly. It's pretty obvious and most people would immediately realize it and ignore the colored dots in practice. So not a big deal.
