The best non responsive yoyo for the price! Spins for 90 seconds! Highly recommend for any yoyoer you know as a great gift. Would not recommend for beginners. One of the best yoyos I have ever bought.

It is machined, so it looks like it has rings, but in reality, it doesn't.With that said, it's an excellent yoyo with lots of spin time and power. It also handles well and has a touch of floaty feel. With a very reasonable price and great performance, you can forgive advertising embellishments, but it's still a great one for anyone's collection.

YoYoStudio does good with this one by making a competition grade bi-metal yoyo at a price that almost everyone can afford. What's in the box: We have the yoyo itself, 10 blue strings, 1 yoyo glove and a plastic baggie that has a bearing puller, axle wrench and the concave bearing for unresponsive play. I swapped the curved bearing in and took out the stock responsive bearing to get started. This also included a zippered yoyo case for EDC card. I also used the included strings for this evaluation.Looking at the yoyo itself, I chose blue. The color is solid and nice, no flaws. The engraving ensures permanent identification, which is always good in my opinion. The transition between the aluminum and Steel rings is very smooth. With the wide profile, it can handle your banger tricks, vertical play and of course, the DNA trick. I found myself easily hitting a couple of high risk binds due to the wide profile. The lines themselves are smooth and minimalistic. There's nothing wrong with that. How it is on grinds? Finger grinds are OK. DNA is OK, IRG's are good. Arm grinds are not so good on skin as the steel rings tend to make the contact. The yoyo has a minimal surface treatment to help with grinds, kinda feeling like a bead blast. In play the yoyo is very light on the string. The yoyo had some unexpected beahaviors. I did some intentionally bad hits and the yoyo got knocked off axis, which was exactly what I wanted to do. The yoyo held the new position fairly well. This will be a helpful feature when taking the yoyo off axis via gyroflop or other methods and you want things to stay. The yoyo also doesn't want to flip into a top-on fingerspin when doing an IRG, which I appreciate. The yoyo does stay stable in horizonal play.I chose the blue because I liked the color combination and also wanted to try to get a good photo of the engraved graphics. I failed, but that's a me issue. The blue/silver really works nice together. For the costs, you can get a competition set of 3 for under $100. Not bad at all! If you're looking for a first yoyo, this might not be the best due to the light weight, so it would be a good 2nd or third once you know the bind. But, if you do want a wide starter, this will do a great job.
