I have a 4 1/2 pound Yorkie. His chest measures about 11 1/2 inches. I ordered an extra small and it is perfect! It could fit a smaller dog. Also, I like the push button to release the harness... much easier than pinching the plastic clasp. Great price! I ordered multiple ones... for the car, the truck, the RV and home!

Darlings, let me tell you about the sartorial sensation that is the YIMEIS Dog Harness & Leash Set — a true triumph in both form and function. My dear Nugget, a Harlequin Miniature Pinscher of high drama and even higher standards, absolutely refuses to don anything less than exquisite. This little vest fits the small dogs perfectly with a little give. My dog is a 6.8lb Yprkie and the extra small is perfect. It can go tighter on the velcro and the clip will secure the two D hooks together. I would say the extra small would be good for a 5-8lb dog but I would check other reviews to get a sense for sizing. If you have a 10lb dog the XS would never work. But it fits around very confortable like stretch clothing might and the hooks together will contain the pup with no constriction or pulling at the neck which can be a problem for Yorkies in particular. I really love this harness and it was amongst the most affordable.....

Fits my three month Yorkie perfectly with room to grow into as the Velcro is adjustable. Very cushiony and well made and my pup does not seem uncomfortable but even don’t mind taking a nap with it on him.

This harness is the best we have bought for our Pom pup. It has Velcro opening so you don’t have to slide over the head and then a clasp. Comes with matching leash. Our puppy walks better on this harness. One word of advice is to size up. We bought this is a size small for our 8 llb pup ans it barely fits
