finding the right headset for a busy office environment can feel like searching for a unicorn. I've tried several, and they've all fallen short in one way or another – poor call quality, uncomfortable for all-day wear, or battery life that dies halfway through my crucial afternoon meetings. But the Yealink BH74 ANC Wireless Bluetooth Headset? This is a game-changer.From the moment I unboxed it, I could tell this was a premium piece of kit. The build quality feels solid and the earcups are incredibly plush and comfortable I can genuinely wear this for hours without any discomfort. But the real magic lies in its performance. The Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) is phenomenal. My office can get surprisingly loud with chatter and keyboard clicks, but the BH74 effectively silences the chaos, allowing me to focus completely on my calls and tasks. It's like stepping into a quiet oasis amidst the storm. And the 6-microphone hybrid ANC technology? My colleagues on the other end of the line have commented on how crystal-clear my voice sounds, even when there's background noise on my end. No more "Can you repeat that?" moments! The Microsoft Teams Premium Open Office certification is a huge plus. Integration is seamless, and the dedicated Teams button is incredibly convenient for quickly joining meetings and managing calls. It just works, flawlessly. And let's talk about the battery life. Yealink claims up to 32 hours of talk time, and honestly, it feels like it! I can go multiple days on a single charge, which is a massive relief. No more scrambling for a charger in the middle of a busy workday. Finally, the fact that it's also Zoom Certified gives me peace of mind knowing it will work seamlessly with another platform I frequently use.Pros:Incredible Active Noise Cancellation: Truly blocks out office distractions.Crystal-Clear Call Quality: Thanks to the 6-mic hybrid ANC.Supreme Comfort: Perfect for all-day wear.Outstanding Battery Life: Lasts for days on a single charge.Seamless Microsoft Teams Integration: With a dedicated Teams button.Zoom Certified: Ensures compatibility with another key platform.Premium Build Quality: Feels durable and well-made.Cons:Honestly, I'm struggling to find any significant cons. It's a fantastic headset!Overall:The Yealink BH74 ANC Wireless Bluetooth Headset has exceeded all my expectations. It's comfortable, delivers exceptional audio quality for both listening and speaking, boasts incredible noise cancellation, and has battery life that just keeps going. If you're looking for a top-tier wireless headset for work, especially in a noisy office environment, look no further. This is worth every penny! Highly recommended!

Overall, the sound quality is great, and I really like the MS Teams integration. When I click the Mute button in Teams, the headset says, "Muted." When I click the Mute button again, it says, "Unmuted." The mute button on the microphone boom works really well, too. When I press the mute button on the headset, it toggles the Mute button in Teams. It's very cool. The only downsides are that it isn't the most comfortable headset I've ever had, and even when I have noise cancellation enabled, a little bit of noise leaks in. I suppose this might be expected with this type of earphones - they don't completely cover my ears. That said, the noise cancellation on the mic is superb. When I record a meeting with my mic on, there is zero background noise recorded. This is true even though I have a heat pump just outside the wall of my office. The reason I subtracted one star is the comfort issue. If I wear the headset for more than about three hours, my outer ears get sore.

With regards to its feature set, this his is actually a surprisingly-robust little pair of headphones! The manufacturers chose to make these soft over-the-ear headphones that don't completely cover up the ear like larger, clamshell earphone models...this provides both benefits and drawbacks. The major benefit is that these headphones are wonderfully comfortable to wear: for those who naturally gravitate to these kinds of earphones because they don't like the in-your-ear earbud models, you will get the general comfort you expect along with *most* of the immersive sound experience that over-the-ear models can provide...I say most because since these aren't clamshell-type earphones, you lose some of that immersive experience...but you aren't completely "shut out of the world" (which is important safety-wise, nowadays). The active noise cancellation (ANC) feature is actually quite good: it does a decent job of screening out external noises and putting you in a "cocoon" of silence if there's nothing playing (any drawback in this feature is due to the fact that, as noted before, these are not clamshell, "fully-over-the-ear" headphones. Its ambient noise mode (where it lets in more of the outside world) is actually pretty good, too: there may be a touch of tech-wizardry going on with that in the sense of it lightly amplifying your environment (a la Apple's Airpods), but I'm not sure...it definitely doesn't match Airpods' standards in this area, however. It's when you turn the music on that the ANC feature shifts into overdrive: it pretty much completely cuts you off from everything else...and them off from your music, too. I didn't test it at top volume, but at around 60%, I had Glee Cast's "Thriller/Heads Will Roll" medley playing, and my wife told me she couldn't hear a thing...and I couldn't hear her talking, either! ("I can see your lips moving, but...!")I would say that listening to music on these is firmly in the above-average experience rating: audiophile purists may turn their nose up at the sound, but I feel that quality sound recordings are reproduced faithfully: In addition to the aforementioned "Thriller/Heads Will Roll," I tried out Insan3lik3's "Tokyo Express," too. Bass is done surprisingly well, although there are almost certainly better headphones out there (that will also cost you an arm and a leg).I did a light test of the telephony features with a few calls: those on the other end reported hearing me very well, and I generally had the same experience with them, although those who use earbuds and Shokz-style earpieces will notice slight differences, of course (it's not bad, just different given the different way of conveying sound into your ear). The "lift-mic-boom-to-mute" feature is awesome (and better than a button, in my opinion): you get a voice-prompt telling you that mute is activated, and another when the boom is lowered and mute is off.Physically, these headphones appear to be as robust as their feature set, with one exception: the black foam-padding cover material around the earpieces themselves: I have seen material like this start to crack, chip, and peel, sometimes after a short period of time...and the material on these headphones feels rather thin. It's possible that it's made of a more durable material, so the the thin-ness doesn't matter...but I don't see any way to readily replace this outer covering if it DOES start to deteriorate, so I feel it's a real concern. It's the only notable drawback I was able to see with these...I'll be updating this listing and reducing my rating accordingly if my concerns end up becoming a reality. To be completely honest, I'm unsure of whether or not their price point ($149.99 at the time of this writing) is warranted: this is my first pair of what you could call "mid-to-high-end" bluetooth headphones. But one thing's for certain: overall, you're getting quite a lot of features--and well-implemented ones, at that--in this little set of headphones. I would be definitely be among those arguing that they're at least worth a shot!

The pros: music sound pretty goodThe cons: The adjustable noise cancelling is the worst! It turns off randomly. It turns off if I try to skip a song. It turns off when I answer a call. The head band is very narrow so it pinpoints pressure to a small area causing discomfort after a while.Callers say I sound like I'm in a very echoing bathroom.Overall I'm really disappointed and regret the purchase.Update: I came back to remove another star. The noise canceling now turns on and off randomly and seems to have a mind of its own. I officially hate this headset.
