It works fine but I have experienced a potential safety concern. Sometimes when loaded the ratcheting handle will sometimes spin back about a quarter to a half turn when released which could hit you in the head pretty hard if you aren't clear of it. Other than that I haven't had any other issues with it.

This hoist works well for small jobs. It came assembled and pretty much ready to use. The quality is okay for the price point. Works as it is intended and overall is descent and will come in handy for small lifting jobs in our shop.

This chain hoist is great to have on hand for a lot of uses including vertical lifting and horizontal pulling. I used this to lift up the front end of my quad so i could perform some maintenance to it and it worked great. I also used this to roll a log splitter on wheels up a ramp and onto a bigger trailer and it worked good for that as well. The handle is pretty neat as it acts like a ratchet, so you do not have to make full revolutions with the handle to lift something. If you are in smaller area and space is tight you crank the handle as much as you can then ratchet the handle back and do it again which is a nice feature. You can also use the ratcheting handle for lowering an item/letting the hook out of the chain hoist.

Great hoist to lift my motorcycle motor. This product can be used to lift many small projects. It is not intended for big projects like car engines. It comes assembled and ready to use. If you have a swing set in your work shop this hoist is NOT made to swing or slide to and fro. It really is a reliable lift. You can move weight on it to and fro, however it is not recommended.Built well; and company ships immediately from my experience. Affordable and worthy. Get one or two you'll be satisfied. Good day.🍷
