The crimper works well enough, so I gave it 3 stars. Deducted 2 for not getting everything. Did not receive the 5 connectors or the wire stripper. Would be nice to receive everything you are suppose to.

I have not used it much, but it seems like a generally decent RJ45 crimper. The problem I have is that I bought this specifically for shielded connectors, but despite the product page claiming "crimps standard CAT5 CAT6 and CAT7 shielded network connectors and budget friendly", this will damage any that are shielded.The reason for this is that unshielded connectors are crimped on both ends (one for the connection and the other to pinch the cable housing for support).Shielded connectors are only crimped on one end and the other end is a shielded housing that requires the user to manually secure it.If the die used for crimping the back of the connector could be removed, then this would work fine, but there's seemingly no way of doing that without just irreversibly modifying it. And if there is a way, then it's far from intuitive and the lack of any kind of instructions is unacceptable.To top it all off, the wiring stickers are falling off and there's not even any branding printed on it just making it feel that much more like something is just off about this whole thing.If you want this for unshielded CAT5e or CAT6 connectors, then you're probably fine as the product itself seems pretty decent overall for the price, so I will definitely keep it. But I can't stand being inconvenienced because of lies on the product page. So it's less about giving 2 stars to the product and more about giving 2 stars to the ones selling it.

It's small, and it does not cut the pass-through wires, so you need another tool, or you need to push the wires back in to NOT pass though before crimping. The blade is hard to get to, hard to use to open cable jackets. Compare to full size plier tools, this should be half price. The cable ends seemed to work, so that's good.

Buen Producto el forro del mango antiresbalante es muy debil por lo demas poncha muy bien toda la estructura es de hierro no corta cable excedentes de la terminal

Please note that it is not a pass through crimper even though it says 'crimps paired-conductor cables (4P 6P 8P RJ11 RJ12 RJ45 pass through connectors'. It is for the regular rj45 connectors and works great for it. Like the feel of the grip, strips and cuts cat5 and cat 6 cables with problems.
