What can I say? These are great sounding monitors and they are still in their break-in period. I have them paired with a HS8s subwoofer and that is a great combo. My studio now sounds amazing and I could just sit in it for hours listening to anything with a smile. You will still need to calibrate them (search online for that) and treat your room walls for sound reflection. All in all, you can't go wrong with the Yamaha HS series. When you see known artists using them instead of using really expensive ones, that says a lot about them. Definitely would buy again.

Cosmo rocks here's why, purchased a pair of Yamaha Hs5 studio monitors they are great nice flat response for recording and mixing, very well built! The delivery date was about a week or so I got them in two days! The delivery person even called me saying he didnt want to leave them as I wasnt home, made other deliveries and came back when I was, give that man a raise! Great experience with "Cosmo music"5 stars!!!
