This is a nice coffee grinder. Well built and very quiet. Makes quick work of grinding beans fresh for a morning cup of joe. I personally enjoy dark roast beans that tend to be oily. No issues with the beans sticking in the hopper and makes a very uniform grind. Some people complain about the box the ground coffee falls into. I simply put the coffee filter in place of the box and go to work. A little grind dust gets out over time but no worse than any other grinder. All in all very pleased with this purchase!

I was not sure what to expect in this price range but it appeared to have a high value to dollar ratio. My last 2 grinders (over the span of 25 years), one was a flat burr and the other a conical burr were over $200 each. After reviewing the ratings and reading the description I decided that if it was awful I could return it. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality for the dollar amount I spent. The static issue was a none issue for me, I’m used to it. Both of my previous catch bowls had the same issue, one was glass and the other plastic. Static is inevitable when grinding coffee and the severity is dictated by the humidity in the air. Dry environment means more static. I appreciate the review that suggested the damp cloth slid through the catch bowl hole for a few seconds before opening the lid. This in combination with a couple of taps on the side helped with the static cling. The only issue that I have with this grinder is the thickness of the coffee hopper on top and the catch bowl, it is fairly thin plastic. Would prefer something with a thicker gauge.I can’t really comment on the coarseness of the grind because I do not make espresso. The fine setting works great for my air press and single cup Kurig style machine. I usually drink drip and when camping percolated, these settings work well also. The size of the ground coffee at each setting is slightly inconsistent but not enough to cause me any issues.I will update this review with any quality issues I encounter over the next couple of years in order to give future customers an accurate snapshot of this coffee grinders quality.

It grinds well, but it will generate static electricity in your plastic container and will mess up your kitchen and surroundings a lot. Never buy it.

I have had this grinder for about a month and I’m very satisfied. I have had four burr grinders and this is by far the best burr grinder I’ve have owned. It’s fast, quiet and does a great job grinding the beans. If you’re needing a fine grind I don’t think this grinder will work for you but if you have a drip coffee maker or French press it does great. My only complaint is it does not have a way to time or measure how much you are grinding but you can work around that by counting and its consistent with the amount it grinds.

So I did a lot of shopping around for a coffee bean grinder and read a lot of reviews on many of them. This is the one I kept going back to so I went with this one, I didn't want to spend a lot of money on a really expensive one, but didn't want a cheap one that would die out on me fast. So the positives about this is it does a REALLY good job grinding my beans. It's always consistently ground. I usually would grind my beans in the store but those machines are never clean and the last time I saw someone sticking their hands under the lid to clean it and walk away, kind of made me cringe. I had a really small one with a blade but never did a good job. The bottom of the beans by the blade were over ground and then I'd find whole beans throughout. So I decided to get a mill like this and it does a good job. The negatives I have are: while the motor portion of it, the stand, etc, are very strong, sturdy and hefty, why in the world would the company use such cheap plastic for the hopper (where you pour the beans into) and the dish that collects the grounds? The plastic on those two things drive me nuts. It feels like one good drop on the floor, or bump something into it, the plastic would crack or break instantly. For the price and the quality of the machine, why use such a thin and cheap feeling plastic? At least use a sturdier material, then this thing would be awesome. Even the knob is a cheap plastic feel and the stickers are so cheap looking and put on crooked which is just annoying. A minor detail that is not that big of a deal is I personally don't like that the on off switch is in the back, so I have to keep feeling for it. But that is just a personal thing and not a deciding factor. I also don't get why I have extra fuses. It makes me a little apprehensive as to how long it will work if it's expected for me the need to change them. So far outside of those things, I like it, it works well.
