I got this because it reminds me of my Slovak ancestry. This will be very cute with a flowing skirt and a pretty shirt underneath. It hits at about my natural waist at 5'7, so perfect for when I wear my skirts at that height. The embroidery is well done, and the stitching and cut is very good. I normally wear a large or extra large in tops as I have broader shoulders and a fuller chest, and a large fits perfectly, so I'd say this runs slightly big. This will be a nice unique piece to have in my wardrobe, and a light extra layer to add for summer without adding much heat as it's lightweight.

This vest is beautiful and fit true to size. I'm so sorry that it didn't work out for me. I ordered the black embroidery one but when I received it the embroidery looked navy blue. I thought they sent me the wrong color. I ordered it again but unfortunately the second vest looked just like the first. I showed several people the vest and asked them what color the embroidery was......they all said navy blue. I put it next to navy and black clothing and it definitely looked navy.
