I've installed lots of commodes and, depending on the flooring, often need to install shims. The hard plastic ones readily available at hardware stores are better than nothing but forget about cutting off the excess however these soft ones are easily cut back with a utility knife to give a neat finished look. Very easy to work with...I will not go back to the hard plastic ones...Normally shims are placed to the back of the commode to be less visible but if needed these can be placed to the front, trimmed back and neatly sealed with silicone colored to match the commode, tile or grout as desired.A lot of folks do not seal a toilet to the floor but I actually think it is code required now (but that is a different topic).

I use these plastic shims (aka 'toilet wedges') to shim O gauge model railroad tracks on curves. They are perfect for this. Product was well packaged, shipped quickly, and as advertised. Recommend seller.

My tile floor has joint edges that aren't perfectly level, which causes the toilet to rock a little bit. These wedges were the perfect solution, being easily cut to match curves and flexible/soft enough to be firmly inserted and making better contact vs. harder shim types. I can imagine they would also be handy for other tasks where harder shims may not quite do the trick.

I am a pro contractor and I purchased 75 piece soft wobble wedges for when I'm installing toilets because all floors are not level and I use the wobble wedges to shim the bottom of the toilets. These wedges are soft but rigid they cut very easily with a utility knife. I love these wedges they are user-friendly and they stack together with ridges on them so they don't slide apart. These wedges are 2" long x 1-1/8" Wide x 1/4" in height. I like the fact that they are only 2 in long and I can store them in my Plumbing box instead of carrying around 16" wooden shims. I also love the fact that they will not rot away if they get wet. I use these wobble wedges on a lot of different applications. I think everybody should have a bottle of these sitting in their utility room or garage or in your toolbox they really come in handy. 5 stars for the soft wobble wedges. I recommend this product 100%

We’ve used these to shim so many different things in so many places in our house! Our house was built in 1845 and nothing is perfectly level, so as we’re renovating and redecorating, it’s always a struggle to make things level. These are great! Trim easily with an exacto type knife and can be stacked.
