Main problem with this hat is the fact that the back side of the cap is to short. Another inch of material at the back bottom edge would make it fit much better.

This is my new summer hat. I've never been a fan of hats but as I've gotten older and balder it's become a requirement. I like the cabbie style and have several cotton and wool models but I wanted something light and airy for the summer. This hat fits the bill. I ordered two; a light one for daytime use and royal blue for night. Either go with anything I might wear, whether to work or out on the town. So far the hat is lightweight but sturdy with a firm but comfortable fit and enough both airflow and protection to keep my scalp cool and unexposed to the sun. Perfect for summer!

Not really polyester-cotton as descdribed. The hat is entirely polyester, except for the band that is inside the hat. it fit very well, just as described, and looks great. I

UPDATE #3 a year later. FIVE STARS ! I just ordered another. It fit perfectly. Twice I tried to order previously, but I was refunded. I'm raising upto 5 star as the company seems to have improved!UPDATE #2: DROPPED A STAR. The red one came in, of the 3 I originally ordered, and it's too big. Clearly they do not have quality control on these things. Removing one star because I need to reorder 2 of the 3 hats and hope the person who made the gray one will make the ivory and red ones I reorder.It's a risk ordering with them. But dang!.. their hats are perfect for hot day in the sun!There's a lot of guys like me who shave their head and need UV protection while keeping cool. This is why I've kept up on the updates. If your on the fence, just order a few. They are cheap. But until they establish quality control standards and stick to them, they don't deserve 5 stars. I hope they read the reviews. Let's help them to help us!UPDATED TO 5 STARS: The ivory one I complained about being too small, took an hour of driving in the sun to relax just enough to tolerate. Yes it left mark but they faded in a couple minutes. It's still a little too small but if it stretches a little more it will be perfect.PLUS: the gray one came in and it fits perfectly! So I'm giving 5 stars because the are great hats for bald guys in hot climate in a convertable.At this price if I have to buy a couple to get the right fit I'm not going to complain since the really function great at cutting down UV while keeping cool on a bit drive in the humid south.ORIGINAL REVIEW: This is too small! There's no adjustment other than elastic that is streched far as it can. I fit a small/med in Levi's, and I tightened Voboom brand flat caps all the way to smallest setting; and this one fits too tight. I have 2 other colors coming and I going to try them out and send all 3 back if they are like this.Nice quality but painfully tight. My bald head would have a ring around it if actually used it.I love the cap style! Too bad it's child sized!
