In my class, which was several years ago, gold was to indicate making the dean's list due to grades. Mine is still hanging on my doorknob. I ordered these to use the tassels on a few graduation cards of which I have to make 11. I only used the tassels and kept the cord for other projects. I'm not sure why anyone buys this many for their graduate, but I've been out of the graduation scene for a number of years. They are of high quality. Each one was made well, and they should stay together for years to come. The gold color that I choose is beautiful. The cost at the time that I ordered was $ 2.00 each at the beginning of 2025 which I think is reasonable. If you need several graduation honor cords, you would not go wrong with these.

Chelsea fanatic of course. Lanyard material and build is really good with a detachable clip.
