Ball is consistent, well-stitched, individually wrapped. As good as the Rawlings 5, and better than the off-brand balls here on Amazon that can tear or lose their shape after a dozen hits. I personally think 5 is too soft, but both Rawlings and Wilson both got rid of their harder 8 and 10 level compression balls, so these will have to do. Just to be clear, if you do not need to use a compression ball--don't. They don't last quite as long simply because the ballistic forces are harder on the materials, and eventually they get "squishier and squishier". I also would not use these balls above age 8. Increased bat speed will do more damage to these balls than a real league ball. But for younger kids, especially in cold weather (no sting), or for those afraid of the ball, these balls are great to get your kids some reps.

I bought a few dozen of the A1228 balls. These look to be quality baseballs. They are level 5 baseballs with a softer core. Perfect practice balls for my 6 year olds baseball team.My only complaint is with packaging/delivery and not the balls themselves. One of the packages that I received was already open and a couple of the balls were scruffed up. You can tell that they were hit a couple times put back in the box and returned. Quality control should have caught this before sending the box out again.

Las utilizo para entrenar con mi hijo de 5 años y son justo lo que esperaba, llegaron bien y en tiempo.

These are great youth baseballs. I have bought these 3 times so that I can get a nice long round of batting practice for the kids. These are not real soft so the bounces on grounds balls are more true, but if a player gets hit it will sting. These baseballs should last a long time - no rips in the seams or rest of baseball. I highly recommend these baseballs.

Great feel, great flight, excellent safety ball. My 5 yr old took a one hop smashed line drive off his chin during our 1st practice. No blood, no foul, no tears!

Lo usa mi niño de 6 años y estan muy adecuados para su edad, muy seguros ya que tienen centro de goma dura que aunque sigue siendo duro, no es tanto como la de adultos
