this is a great extender. we use a unit in our bedroom and this allows us to move it into the corner of the room away from the window. gives a lot more flexibility for organizing the room. definitely recommend if you have a unit that this fits on and you're fed up with the limited movement of it.

Our original hose lasted several years, but this hose looks to be better quality and actually fit our older LG unit better too. It's a little more flexible, which is great because I got tired of always having to reposition the AC when the original hose pushed it while it tried to straighten back out. I don't need the coupler, but the hose fits it well and it seems like a good piece. I'd definitely recommend this as a replacement for an old hose, or an extension to your existing hose.
