For whatever reason, I've never really owned a good rain jacket. I have some jackets that provide some water resistance, but after 10 minutes in a decent drizzle they start to absorb some water.Not so with the WICKHAM rain jacket! By far the best rain jacket I've ever owned, this jacket keeps both the wind and the rain off of you so you can go out in any weather. It's full featured and allows you to adjust the wrists, the neck, and the hood to bundle up as tight as you may need depending on the elements.It's also exceptionally well-priced for what you get. Similar performance from bigger name brands would require paying 2-3 times as much. Great value here.Lastly, I chose the "light blue" color and I'm happy with it because I assumed (correctly) that it was really more of a bluish grey color. Versatile color for my wardrobe.Highly recommended!

I've spent a lot of time outdoors and have been spoiled with some super high-quality gear. I've also spent a great deal of time with budget items that both worked pretty well and some not at all. This product has a lot of the bells and whistles that some of the higher end shells have at a fraction of the cost.Because it's a shell, you will want to wear a comfortable base layer underneath. You will appreciate how this performs though, and it's built quality. The zippers all work great, and you can synch the hood if you're fighting the wind as well. It's not quite on par with an Arcteryx, but it's definitely worth getting if you're looking in this price range.

BOTTOM LINEFor this price point, I was very disappointed and recommend you look around to make sure this is what you want.GOOD* Definitely waterproof and a windbreaker.* Very light.* Nice zippers.* Reminds me of the rubber suits you used to buy to buy for riding a motorcycle or fly fishing in the rain--except this is much better looking than those boxy getups.GOOD TO KNOW* The mysterious "300T High F Spring Asia Textile Patch with Special Three in One" fabric is nylon outside with some polyester inside. Photo. It's not rubber but feels rubberized and you will get just as warm in it.* "High performance rain jacket with a waterproof-breathable membrane" - Membrane is a great way to describe the polyester piece because it is a thin, thin piece of mesh. It does not absorb moisture and is not loose enough to allow air movement. It's almost as though the membrane is glued to the inside.* For air movement, you unzip two long zippers under each arm that run partway down your sides. These are open to the air. There isn't a gusset. You can see my blue sleeve in photo. If it's raining and you're hot, you choose between water and air getting in or sweating.* This looks much better than many windbreakers because it is nicely constructed. Seam placement gives it a tapered fit--not easy with this material. Photo. The fit is the best thing about it, but it is so tapered I would size up unless you only plan to wear this over a thin t-shirt.
