You can never go wrong with an Eric Carle book - this one I bought as we were assigned a task on creating a sun in my nursery class and I thought we would use one of our favourite authors. I didn’t know the title of this book existed and it is part of a reading scheme but nonetheless it has his striking images and is in hard book. Is a good size for little hands to hold and as it was pre loved we’re doing our bit for the planet.

A great book with simple words for a child learning to read. Lots of colorful pictures.
