I bought a name brand hoping they would last , but no they didn't . Nobody sells a quality product any more . I guess that is why the product comes two in a package because you will need it sooner than you expect !

paying a bit more for a name brand and hoping for a good life span. As with all halogen bulbs, avoid to touch the bulbs as body oils can shorten lifespan.

This bulb works great and gives good lighting in the room it's used in.. I must caution the buyer though - do not touch the bulb directly when you take it out of the package. That can ruin the bulb. Otherwise, great bulb to use.
