Purchased 4 TB hard drive. Would not initialize would not format. Even when going into command prompt disc immediately reading incorrect capacity unable to be cleaned unable to be formatted.Very disappointed. Spent about 3 hours cracking at this with every trick in the book I know and all signs point to The hard drive being dead on arrival. This is the last time I'll buy cheap mass-produced Western digital HDDs. I wish I had four hands so I could give this four thumbs down.

So far so good, but man the packaging and delivery was horrible. Looks like the delivery person played soccer with the box. Glad it still works despite looking quite damaged. We’ll see if it keeps working or not I guess.

This was the first internal hard drive I had ever bought. Installation was straightforward thanks to a quick YouTube video and simple setup. However, It does make some noise when it is running. That is my only chief complaint. Outside of that, I now have 4 extra TB of space. I would give it a 5-star if it weren't for the noise.
