I find so many uses for this tape

The adhesive is just right, with good holding power, but easy to remove, as well, which is what gaffer's tape is made for. I haven't used gaffer's tape much, since it's usually very expensive, compared to masking tape and duct tape, so it's nice to have some on hand now. I doubt this is the best quality, but it seems probably slightly better than average quality.If anything changes over time with this tape, I'll report back here about it..Key to ratings:***** - well above average - best I’ve seen**** - above average - very good quality*** - average - not bad, not great** - below average - I probably wish I got something different* - a waste of resources - I wish this had never been made

I had used gaffer's tape while doing sound for our college event services and found it useful for a lot of things, until I found out how much it cost! Just used this for an event at our high school, taping down mic cords in walk areas to remove the trip hazard, and it worked great.Non-reflective, tore easily, stuck well, and removed easily when done.We did try it on a painted wall surface as well, and it removed a bit of the paint, but I think that was the fault of the paint, not the tape (regular masking tape has also removed paint in our school). So, test it in an inconspicuous area first to be sure!

Sólo la he utilizado una vez. Pega bien y se despega relativamente fácil del piso, pero no tanto de los cables. No esperaba que fuera tan agresiva con algunos materiales.

As far as tapes go, this stuff is pretty handy, but gaffer's tape? No, it's not. This stuff is much thinner than the real stuff, and while I haven't had a chance to use it where it's exposed to the heat of the sun or bright set lighting, I can't imagine that the adhesive on this tape is anywhere near as sticky—or removable—as the good stuff. It certainly doesn't stick to carpet like gaffer's tape should.It'd be fine for crafts if you need a matte black tape, but if you're taping down cables or gear, this ain't it.
