I have this in my jungle themed room excellent purchase, the cord has the ability to lighten the letters or make them bold. Glad I got it on sale

I collect these neon "Bar Signs" because they do so much for a music/fun room or den. I was excited to see this when the box arrived because it has such a nice look in the images and the colors seemed appealing. But when I unwrapped it and plugged it in it was mostly a cold, flat white light. Very little of the pink and blue show up at all when it's turned on. And when I went to adjust the brightness I was very sorry to see that it has no adjustment feature on the switch the way all my other neon wall signs do! For the price I admit I am surprised this very basic dimmer feature is not included.Because of the brightness factor, I would say this is better for a larger space. In a smaller or more intimate room it is a bit overpowering. It would be ideal in an actual bar or club, where you would want the kind of light this sign produces.I'm going for a more subdued and colorful atmosphere in my man cave, so I returned this. My bad, really: I should have looked more closely at the images, but I thought the dimmer feature was standard on these. It certainly should be by now, and at this price point (over $30!)Update: I was contacted by the seller after I posted my review, and they are obviously service-oriented and concerned with addressing a buyer's concerns. I am adding a star to this review as a result.
