I only tested this device for streaming SRT and NDI.It appears to be a YouYeeToo LinkPi device. While it works fine for SRT, I really bought it for NDI encoding as I already had an SRT encoder I was trying to replace. It is an ungrade from my other SRT encoder in that it has a display with stream and connection information which is a nice feature. However, during testing I found that after about a short period of time the NDI stream would freeze. At first I wrote this off to a technical glitch of some kind. Eventually I realized that it seemed like it froze after a certain period of time, so I started timing how long it took before the NDI stream froze. I found that it froze at about 30 minutes every time which seemed like an odd coincidence. So I started looking at the Amazon listing for the item, and although the listing says it supports NDI HX, there are two notes in one of the product images reading, "Note: According to NewTek's authorization regulations, users who have not purchased NDI authorization can only use it for 30 minutes each time." and "Purchase one NDI license to enjoy both functions of NDI encoder and decoder."Although the device does support NDI HX, it apparently has no NDI license so it will only work for 30 minutes before stopping. You can purchase an NDI license for the LinkPi on the youyeetoo website, but it costs about $90. The combined price of the encoder along with the NDI license fee make this an overpriced NDI streaming device, as there are other encoders being sold on Amazon that offer better NDI encoding options (like NDI HX3) along with a license for less money. This device works well for SRT, but I can't recommend for NDI at all.

The ENC1-V3 HD encoder is pretty cool if you're into live streaming or content creation. It handles up to 4K@30fps, which is great for high-quality broadcasts, and it supports a ton of protocols like SRT, RTMP, and more, so connecting to your favorite software or platforms like OBS and vMix is a breeze. Plus, it works with major streaming sites like YouTube Live and Twitch, which is super handy.Being able to stream over WiFi or 4G is a game-changer, especially if you're on the move or at live events. And the fact that it can do more than just encode—like mixing and remote assistance—is a nice bonus. With a max bit rate of 20Mbps, your streams should look smooth without taxing your network too much. All in all, it's a solid piece of gear for anyone serious about streaming, offering a lot of flexibility and quality in a compact package.

So many reviews complaining NDI License and limits… but for the unit price and license it was worth it and cheaper then alternatives!Support was quick and helpful with activating the NDI license for the unit. I had one minor problem with touching settings I should not of and support helped me reflash the unit within a day.We use this to stream a 4K Webcam from a DJ booth and DJ audio thru Line In for our techs and to have a view on our screens of the DJ live.Yes it does take a bit of looking at the menus, trail error on some settings, but once setup it’s worth every penny as a NDI ENCODERAgain, cost of unit + license for $90 is still bargain vs other options.
