In spite of the description that these batteries are compatible with the GoPro Hero 5, the batteries did not work in my GoPRO Hero 5. I purchased a GoPro brand replacement battery, which does work in my GoPro Hero 5. Although the description of the product was not accurate on Amazon (e.g. it does not work with a GoPro Hero 5), I will have to pay for the shipping of the batteries back to the vendor, to get a refund. This purchase from Wasabi was a waste of my time and money.

Got these batteries and at first they didn't work. Tech support got back with me on a firmware update. Did the update and they all worked.

fits perfectly into the charger, not finicky and doesnt stop/start charging randomly when touched like the other competitors. will update this in a couple months.I went for smaller capacity with wasabi over competitors 1480mAh because all of them grew in size and became fat. I will be using this gopro in hot environments as well as a motorcycle "dashcam" so lets see if these swell.2024- they do swell and they last about 50mins and they do have common GoPro errors but thats just a fact of life . still just as good as an overpriced OEM battery.
