The car looks nice and the fact it comes with some logs is cool, but the logs are a bit oversized for 1/87 scale. They come out to be about 5' in diameter, but you can easily get a stick from outside that is about a 1/4" and chop that up into real logs for your train. I was able to hold 6 easily on this car. Also, the center section of the car tilts so you can dump the logs, and they roll nicely away from the track. So nice interactive feature there, and my 3 y/o daughter loves to do the dumping and reloading. The biggest complaint I have is the car kept disconnecting unless it was directly behind the locomotive, but once I did that no issues at all. It pulls 6 more cars behind it and no issues at all on an inclined/declined track.

I like the Walthers train line log dump train car it looks good with logs on it.

I got it for my 10 yr old grand son for Christmas who immediately liked it and showed it to his mom!
