ok for a hobbyist, but take your time using them. Quality is ok....avoid hard woods

Wow.... these cut like butter. I can't belive the low cost which is great because money is tight in most everyone I know and nyself so thanks for providing a quality product for a low cost! You deserve 10 stars 🌟

I would recommend these if you needed to bore deep holes. The extension works great for my deeper holes with no problem. I like that you actually "screw" the bit into the extension. Very nice feature. Very nice set. Highly recommended.

These forstner bits cut well and they should stay sharp a long time because the cutting edges are carbide. The extensions work well but the depth stop doesnt fit the shafts of the extensions in my kit. The depth stop not fitting is not a big deal for me, but I'm surprised it doesn't fit and I would have enjoyed having it. There is also a connector so you can use these with a 1/2 inch square drive tool like an air impact wrench. This connector can only be used with the shorter extension.Each bit when used without the extension also fits a quick release hex drive impact chuck and I like that.

Pros: This is a very versatile set that you can use for several applications. I think it's really neat how you can screw on different adapters for different applications. I love that it comes with the extensions and the limiter and the conversion bit so that you can use it in your drill press or your handheld drill, etc. Everything is threaded so you can just slide it right on and tighten it. I think that's great. It also has a great little case where everything fits in its place and doesn't fall out.Cons: Sometimes the pieces can be hard to get out of the case, but that's not too big a problem. The biggest con, in my opinion, is the number of actual bits that are included; there are only five. Most sets I've seen come with at least eight, some with many more than that.Overall, I think it's a really innovative way to do forstner bits and I like the set, but wish there were more bits included.
