These connectors provide a secure connection between wires quickly and easily. They snap securely onto the wire and are also easy to remove when needed. We use these on a competition robot that is subject to some hard hits and we've never had one come loose.

What a great product. I love these. They are great connectors for most any kind of electrical wire. They are super easy to use, and are especially good for projects where you need to disconnect wires from time to time like electric water pumps that need maintenance.

Quick note: The numbers matter! 41x connectors can hold wires up to 4mm (12 AWG) in size, whereas the 61x can hold wires as big as 6mm (10 AWG). x12 can hold 2 conductors, x13 can hold 3, x14 can hold 4, and x15 can hold 5.. The 6 series is visibly larger than the 4 series, so it takes more space in the device box. In practice, this only matters if outlet real estate is tight.--I'm an electrician in Canada, and I use Wago 221-41x connectors in almost every outlet* in my house. While wire nuts are great because they simply insulate and protect a connection between wires, lever nuts are ideal for stranded wire, dissimilar metals, large wires, small wires, wires of varying sizes, and probably other things I can't think of. They're easier to use in tight spaces than wire nuts which saves me time and frustration, and they hold on surprisingly tight! I've used off-brand lever nuts from Canadian Tire, but those couldn't even do their job. I'm not supposed to be able to just pull the wires out... Fortunately, the Wago lever nuts grab tighter than a tick without damaging the wire, which is exactly what you need when doing residential wiring. Instead of digging into the wire to hold it, these use a strip of metal (I think it's copper) under tension to press down against the wire, which does an excellent job of keeping it very firmly in place without having to ruin the wire like push wire connectors would. Many North American electricians prefer wire nuts because of tradition and the aforementioned insulation and protection, but this requires twisting the wires together. Unless your wire nuts have wings, you'll be doing the twisting manually, which has the potential to damage and/or waste wire if you make any mistakes. You have to cut off the tip of the twist anyway in order for the nut to fit properly, and you have to cut the twist off to change the wiring because otherwise you'll be working with damaged wires, which is awful practice. While it's an objectively better method for a strong, permanent connection, it's still using wire up every time you work with it. If you expect to change wiring more than once a decade, I recommend lever nuts. You don't have to cut the wire, only strip the insulator back a bit, and only once. Changing the wiring doesn't require any cutting, just re-open the lever. If the lever gets weak from frequent use (and I do mean frequent), it's as simple as just replacing the connector. The wires all fit into the new Wago just as they did with the old one. Wire nuts are better for untouched, long-term connections between solid wires of a similar metal, and these Wago 221s are good for everything else. I keep several dozens of both in my workshop for work around the house - but this isn't a wire nut product page, now is it? :PThese glorious little buggers are well worth the money. Get like 20 to 50 412 connectors to keep around, and like a dozen 413 connectors too. If you're going to replace a switch or a receptacle, get at least 3 of these x12 connectors, and one or two x13 connectors as well.--*You're probably thinking of receptacles, which are where you plug things in. Outlets are the boxes where you install switches/receptacles/etc.

These are amazing. No more stupid useless wire nuts that take up too much space. These are slim, easy to tuck into wiring boxes and secure and easy to connect multiple wires. Thinking about pulling out all my outlets and redoing them. These are also very useful for easily connecting and testing some of these new LED dimmer switches since some older homes may not have just a white, black and ground or red, so you can easily switch wires around and test if it's not working. Just a great value and less messing around.
