I was on the hunt for the biggest sunhat I could find, and this thing doesn't disappoint. The price is definitely worth it; amazing quality. The brim goes past my shoulders for maximum sun protection! Which is exactly what I wanted. :D It's a statement piece, for sure! I love it, I love it, I love it!

Ok tengo que editar mi opinión inicial: El sombrero se ve muy elegante y llamativo. Es enorme. El ala podría ser más rígida, definitivamente. No tiene alambré de metal para darle la forma, que lastima. Medio cae por lo que tengo que batallar un poco para colocarla de tal manera que no me tape la vista. Tarde pero entendimos al final que el moño que tiene arriba es para ajustar el sombrero a la circunferencia de la cabeza. Aunque al ajustarlo se forma una arruga sin embargo no se nota tanto. El nudo del moño con el tiempo se afloja, tendré que fijarlo con algo. Extraño un cordón para amarrarlo por debajo de la barbilla. No lo tiene prediseñado. Además, al sombrero le salían muchos hilos por todos lados y que tuve que cortarlos manualmente.Pero me gustó que tiene factor de protección solar, a simple vista casi no filtra luz solar y es más ligero que unos sombreros similares de otras marcas que he probado en vivo entonces no me va a cansar tanto el cuello en el final del día.

This is the cutest hat I have ever owned. It is perfect for day or night, beach or city, everywhere! I love that the brim is large and covers my face and neck. It is also very sexy and alluring. I want every color! I like that the inside where your head goes is lined with a stretchy thing that helps keep the hat on if a wind comes. It is beyond sexy!

Dramatic brimmed hat that works for many occasions. I made a removable flower arrangement for the top for a Kentucky Derby party. When it was over, I took off the decor and wore it to the beach. Looks amazing on and I received a ton of compliments!

I purchased this hat for my vacation in Cancun. When I tried it on for the first time, it was a little tight, (as expected because I believe I have a larger than average head... approx. 23"). I did try and stretch it a little but I'm not convinced that worked. After wearing it for a while I think it fit a bit better. I wore it to the pool and in the pool while I was chillin' (being careful to keep my head above the water). I also used it to cover my face while sun bathing. It got VERY wet but dried quickly and recovered nicely. The first picture (accented w/red) is from day five of my trip. The second picture (accented w/black) is from day six)If purchasing, you should realize that the brim is quite large. It packed quit well, especially considering the size of the brim. I used the plastic it came in to protect it and also placed one of my sarongs inside the dome to keep it from squishing too much. While I was walking on the street, a gust of wind from a passing bus blew it off, but fortunately I caught it before it got completely away from me. It also blew off once while walking from the pool back to my room, so be careful of the wind!Each time I wore this hat, (which was every day I went to the beach or pool) I received numerous compliments, from "Great Hat!" to "Awesome Style." A kind woman actually made a special trip over to me to let me know that I'd made "Quite the Entrance" when I came to the pool! I decided to customize the hat to each of my swimsuits by placing a colored band around the dome which matched and/or complimented my swimsuit.

This hat is a HUGE hat. It will cover your shoulders. That was exactly what I wanted and I looooooooved this hat. I actually unfortunately just lost it on a river float trip, but I will be buying another one. It was incredibly high quality, sturdy yet flexible, rated at spf50+, and the seller (I recommend eBags to buy from) shipped it in a huge box with several hard plastic hat forms to protect it from smashing. The "toast" color is a gorgeous natural straw color.I have a pretty big head and thick hair, so I have a difficult time fitting hats; like every hat I try on, this one fit snuggly, but better than most hats I try. This one was juuuust starting to break in when it was lost, but as I said - I WILL be buying another one; it was perfect and protected my face, shoulders, upper arms, and upper back.I'm 5 ft tall so the hat might've looked a little big on me, but I don't really care. I like giant sun hats and FUNCTIONAL giant sun hats are pretty much the bees knees. ^_^
