Description is not correct on item. Only has 1 answering system for a phone base that can connect 4 separate lines. Does not state there is a fee if item is returned. Would not have purchased the item and had to return if description was correct and therefore would not have been charged a return fee.

The phone sounded tinny for those on the receiving end. I could not find any adjustments but I also have a cordless handset that I used to circumvent that issue.

What a horrible purchase this was and I would of returned this crappy phone system but I didn’t instal it and realize how bad it was until after the 30 day return period had ended.The phone ringer volume is weak and can’t be heard over background noise -maybe not a problem in a office environment but in my shop where we have equipment running and radio playing -you can’t hear this thing ring and missed calls add to my frustration.Second HUGE issue is you can pick up on an existing call. No other business phone system that I had ever let you do this. So cringy when another employee goes to make a call and interrupts an existing phone call and seems so amateurish at best.Third issue is phone volume as this thing is NOT loud and difficult to hear if you have any type of background noise like my shop does. I am going to sell this crap system just as soon as I get another replacement and should of been more diligent -my bad!

I bought several phones for our small office. All have worked together flawlessly, no problems whatsoever. Configuration was easy and intuitive, didn't even need to open the supplied manual to have everything connected and working. The features are impressive, straightforward ring groups, music on hold, line priority, speed dial, intercom, paging all work great and get used daily. Volume is excellent, no call quality issues. It was time to change out my phones and picked up this 4-Line VTech small business phone.In terms of construction it is very well built. The button touch is a littler firmer than I like but still good. The phone has so many settings and functions that I would recommend reading the operating manual and keeping the manual close by at least for the first month.Calls are clear and I have had no complaints regarding the speakerphone which people almost always comment on if the phone sounds 'hollow' or 'tinny'.I did buy one extension that I can carry around with me and it tied into the main unit without issue.All in all and very good product for a small business.
