It's difficult to setup, I had to use an adjustable wrench to hold the memory collars closed tightly enough to thread the bolt that is barely long enough to reach the nut.Once assembled, it's not even close to level. There is no way to adjust in the direction that would allow you to correct for the tubes fitting very loosely into their bases.

A perfect addition to my Ultimate stand. The ability to set the height for the second tier makes this invaluable as a traveling stage musician. It feels sturdy even mounted with two, stacked, keyboards. I have a Roland RD800 on the bottom, main, stand; Korg Karma atop a Korg CX-3 on the second tier.

Awesome 2nd tier addition to my already awesome V-stand, sturdy as heck and keeps me confident about my performance. Built in level gauge is a handy feature. Just make sure that hardware is TIGHT.

This is a heavy duty second tier option of the Ultimate Support IQ-3000 and alos their V stand. Like the IQ-3000, it appears to be generally durable and well designed, though there are a few short comings, read on.PROS: heavy duty construction without too much weight. It is cleverly designed so that you can set it up for a particular two keyboard combination and remove the 2nd tier for transport, then at the gig, quickly drop the tier arms into the clamps without further adjustment and you are ready to go. Setup should just be a few seconds. The height and angle of the 2nd tier is fully adjustable and I'd expect it can accommodate a very wide range of keyboard combinations.CONS: there are two minor flaws in the product. The height of each tier arm is controlled by a "Memory Collar", which is a clamp that goes onto the vertical part of the tier arm and is tightened with a 4mm hex screw. You position the memory collar on the tier arm to control the height of the tier above the base stand. To attach the tier arm to the base stand, you simply slide the tier arm down through a clamp on the base stand until the Memory Collar contacts the stand clamp. The flaw is that the Memory Collar is plastic and will snap if you tighten it too tight. But it has to be fairly tight to hold the vertical position of the tier once a keyboard is on the tier. I snapped mine when setting up the stand initially. The 2nd tier can not be used if the plastic collar breaks. This critical part should be metal. The second con is that the little plastic "L" shapped tier arm end pieces that prevent the keyboard from sliding off the tier do not fit securely into the tier arm pipe right out of the box. I had to bent the tabs of these pieces slightly to get them to stay securely in place. Once I did that, the arms ends stayed in place so no big deal, but kind of a pain to figure out during the installation. A product of this quality should not have these issues. So with the above CONS in mind, I would still highly recommend this product, which is otherwise quite good. Just be careful of the plastic Memory Collars! I'd like to try to find some simple clamping mechanism at a home store that is more reliable.
