Don't expect this thing to light up an entire room. It's great for a dark corner though, which is what I ordered it for. Do yourself a favor and watch the installation video because the included instructions are awful. You may also wish to pre-roll the shade around something round and let it sit for a few days. There are lots of creases and bumps in the shade when you roll it up, nothing at all like it shows in the video. I simply turned the lumpy side of the lamp to face the corner so it's less noticeable. Roll it up the way it's done in the video (velcro it all the way shut before installing it on the lamp itself) and you'll hate yourself less trying to smooth out the bigger bumps by having to stick your arm through the lamp.The shade and bulb color are not as warm as the amazon listing would lead you to believe. Go look at photos from other reviews to get a better idea. The shade is more of a cream than a linen color, and even on the warmest bulb color setting I would still describe it as closer to slightly warm daylight rather than a true warm white. Not exactly what I wanted (especially the shade color) but I don't want to take it all apart and send it back, so I'll live with it as is. Pro tip: If you unplug the lamp and plug it back in it will reset your settings, so beware of that.Build quality is good. I did have some issues getting the bulb seated to screw in. Had to really push down because you're fighting against the cord you threaded through the metal tubes (which I did not think would be an issue but it was). I would not place this in areas where children or pets might bump into it. Despite the heavy base it's still top heavy enough to easily knock over, especially on carpet.The remote is fantastic and I appreciate that it's magnetic, so maybe I won't lose it as easily (yay ADHD). Just gotta remember to put it back on the lamp when I turn it off. There are a lot of brightness settings so if you're like me wondering why isn't this thing getting dimmer when I click the button, just hold it down until the brightness is where you want it. I also appreciate that the dimmest setting is truly DIM. Much brighter than a night light but dim enough that my eyes don't hurt to look directly at it. Should be a great addition to customize lighting in my living room when I'm having sensory issues or vestibular migraines but the neighbors are out so I can't hide in my bedroom lest screaming children make my brain short circuit.Overall, good value for the cost as long as you're mindful of what you're getting. If the lamp doesn't randomly stop working in the next few months I may order more for other rooms (where shade color and carpet won't be an issue).

Works just the way it was advertised and it's easy to put together. The remote is great and the light settings are very useful.

I never thought I could be so excited about a lamp...this one was everything I was looking for!It's 'compact', not overbearing in the space I needed it for...so easy to assemble, took no longer than 5 minutes, and the functions of the remote and variation of the brightness and colour of the lighting is absolutely perfect!!Highly recommend it if you are looking for a smaller lamp to brighten up a corner of a room.

I needed more light in my home office now that it becomes dark outside quicker and found this lamp that was sleek, space saving and met all my needs. I am more than happy with the product. The remote and features are excellent to set different ambient lighting throughout the day and is sleek, easy to assemble and use. I would definitely order this lamp again as well as revisit this sellers page.
