Works great while the reservoir is full and there's enough weight to keep it firmly on the base.There's nothing mechanically attaching the reservoir to the base to force it to seal watertight, so as the weight decreases the unit starts to leak horribly.The gaskets around the plug are also cheap - if you don't take the time to really make sure it's properly seated before you tighten it you will offset the sealing gasket and...more leaks.It does look pretty cool though. It would be perfect if they'd make it so it seals better.

Purchased this as a gift and it was better than expected. Great size reservoir tank and output. Only criticism is the instructions did not clearly indicate where the power, lighting and output level switches were. Took us a hot minute to figure it out. It’s just surface touch sensitive right under the manufacturer label. This product is really aesthetically pleasing, so quiet and effective.

If you like products that are functional and beautiful to look at, this one is for you. Most humidifiers are ugly things you want to hide and let do their job. This looks stylish and the interior illumination is a very cool additional detail. It doesn't look out of place in a traditional room and in fact is really nice to look at. The tank is huge and allows you to avoid filling every day. And anyone that complains about not understanding how to operate it, is probably stuck in a different time. I am planning to purchase the Lucerna 2 next for a bedroom because I am so impressed with this product.

Peace Folks! I very rarely write reviews for products, but this humidifier deserves a big shout out, especially given some of the more negative reviews.We just moved to a new place with a beast of a wood stove insert with no stove top to keep water boiling for humidity. So, we purchased the largest one (1.5 gal) and it's an amazing addition to our living room. First, it's super elegant in the best functionally minimalist way. There's been several critical comments by folks who complain that the controls aren't lit up. As someone who wants to keep the creeping electronic light switch pollution down to a minimum, this is a fantastic (and rare) design choice. Seriously, there are only three "unlit" controls to press and a minimum of options, which after you know where they're located are easy to find in the dark.The ambient light, which is super close to the color and feel of a candle or fireplace is stunning. Mixed with the soft gurgling of water as it is made into a steady stream of steam, it is truly magical.

It has different modes, illumination, humid, humidify, but you can’t tell by looking at it. It’s a wonderful product. I love it, but it needs help real help. It’s a beautiful product. It needs help.!!
