Needed to utilize more space, with my corner desk at home, for music production. Was skeptical initially about the purchase as some reviews indicated damage upon arrival. As I crossed my fingers the package arrived undamaged and I was pleasantly surprised. It is awkward to remove from box, so two people would be a good idea as I'm sure damage could occur easily if dropped. Measure your desk because this desk converter is larger than it looks. As you can see in the photo mine (36") barely fit with my desk setup. I have a monitor with a 12" stand depth. The middle (where stand will sit) is 16" so if you have a large stand that is good info as description says 22."I purchased this desktop converter not so much to stand with but to have room for my midi piano under my computer keyboard. The setup is ideal to have everything in front of me to be more productive. It is nice to have monitor up higher for better posture. Keep in mind the keyboard tray, that you mount on here, is not meant to be leaned on, or it will break. Another thing to consider is a heavy monitor like mine will be a little harder to move up and down. Put the feet on the front of the stand, as I thought it would be ok without them. I quickly realized that at the top height it does become a little top heavy and I could imagine a bad scenario of not only damaging your monitor, but the desk converter as well.Very nice addition to any desk. I would highly recommend purchasing this to help you with your posture, if used sitting or standing. Very simple and affordable way to protect your neck and back if you spend a lot of time on computer.

I have wanted a sitting/standing desk for several years but didn’t want to let go of my current, sturdy desk with all of its storage. This was an excellent find - I can use whatever desk base I want, and still stand quickly without fuss whenever I like. The adjustability of height is very helpful if I change up seating. I also like that this desk doesn’t wobble at all through raising or lowering, even when I have multiple items on it (note: it is very heavy, so have a solid base table or desk for safety). I find the lower deck is sufficient for my mouse and keyboard; the upper deck is enough for my laptop and an external monitor mounted on an arm. Overall, a worthwhile investment that allows me to adapt my workspace to my needs.

I've been working remotely for months and had to make do with items around the house since my employer would not purchase any items for use like a sit/stand desk for our remote use. Having come from a work environment that used VeriDesk, I was a searching for one that was similar yet did not have the hefty price tag. After reviewing many options and reading the reviews I decided to give VIVO a try. So far I couldn't be more pleased!! Pic 1 is showing it flat on the desk. Pic 2 - although hard to tell, shows raised about 5 inches.I'd read reviews that some of the items were damaged or missing pieces - everything in my box were there and in great shape. Assembly was a breeze as well. I will say that the keyboard shelf does sit a bit high. The shelf is 3/4 of an inch off the desk, then add in the height of the keyboard - it can lead to a bit of wrist fatigue. I tend to get lazy with my wrists and rest them too often on the keyboard. Having to work around this additional height might get me to pay more attention. A wrist guard my be my next purchase. But being able to stand throughout the day will be the best benefit. Here's hoping this product holds up for however long we're working remotely.

My coworkers got a different brand of standing desk after seeing my VIVO desk (I think theirs were cheaper). I already really liked mine, but in seeing theirs in comparison I am really happy with the VIVO. It's so much easier to raise, lower, and adjust the height in small amounts by what my body is needing in the moment. I did have to switch to a different type of monitor stand that was more flexible so I could quickly raise and lower my monitors. This is because the VIVO desk makes the monitors a bit higher when I'm seated, but just right when I'm standing. Once I got a flexible-height monitor stand I've been nothing but happy about my new setup. Also, I probably started with 1 hour standing, 1 hour sitting back and forth for the first week of work. Now I'm standing for most of the day with maybe 1 hour of sitting near the end of the day. I love it! My shoulders, neck and hips feel so much better! I have not felt the need for a stress mat - I tend to just stretch and move around a bit while I'm working. So glad I tried this - never going back to sitting all day at a computer again!

I had compared features on a lot of these types of stand-up desks and went with this one for several reasons. The first is that I use a laptop, and wanted to be sure it would fit on the keyboard tray, which it does, quite well, without being too far forward (as the top desk part has the cut out). The uses two hands to lift, on either side, with a simple grip and lift system. It raises and lowers very smoothly and easily. I really wanted the light wood top that nobody else really offered, and I am so happy I did. It is a really nice quality, and feels and looks great. It easily fits two large monitors (a 27 and a 32") on the top desk part with plenty of room for a few other items as needed, and the monitors don't have any trouble and don't get tippy or anything when the desk is raising or lowering. Plus, when the desk is lowered, it has them still at eye level, rather than lower, which is great for your neck. I am really happy with this purchase!
