This display rack is made of high quality acrylic and it looks great on the wall. It comes with detailed instructions and was easy overall, but a bit time consuming to put together. Each piece comes with a peel-off protective sheet on both sides, which is great in terms of protecting the surface, but it took me quite a while to peel off each sheet. This was the one kind of tricky and time consuming part about putting this together; in fact, at first look I didn't even realize the protective sheet wasn't the surface of the item and I thought they'd sent me the wrong thing for a second.I am using this for small toys/figurines, not golf balls. Note that there is an actual small hole on the bottom of each square, which is ideal for setting a golf ball in, but something to be aware of if you are using it for something else as I did.The only other thing to report that I'd consider at all negative, is the fact that once you have this together, it doesn't snap or stay in place. So, you have to hang it carefully or else it will come apart. Once it's on the wall you can kind of push the shelves back all the way and make sure it is straight, but it will still move around a little.

I must say this is one of the most labor intensive and frustrating assemblies I’ve done. You have to remove the protective layer of plastic from each acrylic piece, both sides. A thin blade was helpful in getting an edge pulled up so you could start to remove the film. And you have to go slow because the film rips. Each piece is lettered, but I received no instructions so it doesn’t do much good. I screwed in the hangers and assembled the rest using the photo as a guide. You have to have a large piece of wood or a huge cookie sheet in my case to move the unit and keep it together because the pieces come apart way too easily. How you manage to get this on the wall and keep the parts in place while setting up your display is beyond me. I didn’t have the patience to go further with it. I didn’t know that each of the openings have not just a divot, but a large hole in it so if you’re planning on displaying miniatures as I was, you’ll have to cover the holes with stickers or tape.

Are you looking at this thing and wondering if you could use it to display your collection of miniature rubber ducks? Good news! I've done that experiment for you, and the answer is yes, with some caveats.Straight out of the box, I was impressed with the quality of this "golf ball display". The pieces of acrylic are nice and thick, the edges neatly and cleanly cut, and each piece clearly labeled and covered in a protective film to prevent scratches.Assembly was fairly intuitive and the instructions were clear. I've recommend having a couple of sheets of rigid cardboard at least as large as the finished product to move it back and forth between as you put it together.Once assembled, it looks nice. Each space easily accommodates a ~2" mini rubber duck. The spaces higher up on the display work well for displaying taller mini ducks, such as those with antennae or crowns or hats, that are too tall for the lower spaces. I'm glad I took a chance on this thing!
