I’ve used these filters for years now.They have worked great for me. It takes all the chlorine taste out of the water. It lasts me for about six months as I only use for drinking water for me. Over the past few years the price has actually gone down.The only complaint I have is the instructions say after soaking to gently tap the filter. I have done this twice and I highly suggest NOT to do this. The water from the top never fully empties through the filter into the bottom reservoir.Other than that I would highly recommend this filter.

Used about 5 of these filters. Great product as I drink a ton of water and love it iced cold. The container they load into is great and the water tastes great. Note that this filter doesn’t filter out fluoride but improves the taste and quality of water. Will reply with PPM comparison to toronto water.Haven’t had the issues listed here with the water not flowing through. Mine filters steadily but not fast. Remember that your water wouldn’t be filtered too well if it poured right on through. There’s a ton of resistance in this filter and it’s doing it’s job. Just ordered another today, will report if there’s any new issues like the ones noted here but overall my past experiences have been great.

El sistema de filtrado Vitapur funciona muy bien para tratar agua potable de la red pública, no lo usaría con agua contaminada con bacterias o virus, solo cuenta con filtración por carbón activado, gracias.

These filters save so much money over large bottled water company deliveries its amazing. We also purchased the big Greenway water cooler attachment this filter goes with and have used it for probably 5 years. It does require occasional cleaning, and the filters don't last forever. But the savings compared to water delivery are great. The water quality for taste is wonderful. This is not a high end hydro filter system but for what its advertised to be, a taste and sediment filter, it works well. SO, if your on city water and want the chlorine taste remove, this will do the job. The activated carbon filter does remove the bad chlorine taste, and the dual layer filter removes particles from the water. If your using well water and have heavy deposits of sediment and iron...this will not do the job as well as a professionally installed water softener and treatment system. But if your on city water, this is the one to buy!
