charges 50% faster than sony original battery (when on USB-C).has between 95-98% capacity of sony original battery, but for half the price.can charge directly with USB-C outside of the camera and without a charger.won't trip the annoying battery message.tested it at 100°F in the summer and 14°F in the winter and it did work flawlessly.

It is nice and convenient having built in USB C charging but it gets quite hot in the process.

Works as expected. But the product photos on the website are very misleading. Many photos show 2 batteries, but actually it only comes with 1 battery.

If you take a lot of images, you already understand why you need a good battery, and more than one.Heck, I think I am now up to seven batteries for my primary camera.This battery by Viltrox is my favorite one (sounds odd doesn't it).It arrived with a 76% charge which is the proper way to send these out. I usually store my lithium batteries around that level and top off before needing them. If I am in a hurry and don't have time to top them off, I just grab a few extra.I like the fact that it is colored white, it stands out. I can spot the battery easily, whereas I have looked for a black battery once for 5 minutes and it was almost in front of me. It just blended onto the black surface I had placed it on previously.Additionally, the battery has its own charge port and a cable is included.I appreciate that I don't need a proprietary charger. I can be post processing images and be charging that battery (to 75%) at the same time sans charger setup.Simple, easy to spot and use. Great battery...thanks Viltrox.
