Started flickering on and off intermittently after about a year of light use, and then totally failed soon after. Confirmed there was not a problem with my DP cables or 5V supply.

I use this switch for DisplayPort in conjunction with a switch for HDMI. Both are taped under the desk. I have two laptops and two external monitors. With these two switches, I can output the video from either laptop to either monitor, or to both monitors at once if needed.

The Vilcome DisplayPort Switch is exactly what I needed for my setup. I use it to switch the HDMI output from my RTX 4090 between my iRacing sim rig display and my second monitor on my desktop—something that's necessary since the card only has one HDMI out.This switch works flawlessly. It's truly plug-and-play, with no noticeable latency or loss of signal quality. The one-button switching is simple and effective. For anyone dealing with similar output limitations or looking for a hassle-free way to share a single HDMI out between two displays, this is a perfect solution. The only thing I don't like is the required USB power input, but it's a minor issue. Highly recommend!

Lovely color. Got blue and red so I can differentiate left and right monitor.Shame it doesn't work. seems to not sustain power or can't send wake signals through properly.Also would have been better if input and output were all on one side so I can cable manage easily with the module being appended on top of the desk with cables routed to the back.Thought my cable was bad and switched to different cable configuration and tested with multiple permutation of known working cables and couldn't trouble shoot.Unit probably doesn't have proper ground loop so it can't correctly detect when signal is killed vs back on.Switched to UGreen's DP Switch and works fine.

I unfortunately had to try several products form Amazon before I found one that works for my needs. I simply wanted to be able to have two computers - a desktop and laptop - and switch between them on a monitor in my home office. This is able to do that. It does exactly what I need, no bells or whistles.
