After purchasing a new Viking-themed PC and being introduced to Vikings on Prime Video (currently I'm in Season 4), I just had to get myself a Viking themed bottle opener. That's pretty much my motivation for it.Now onto my review,10/10 - Sturdy, durable. Did not test throwing it at the ground, but you can just feel the strength in its build quality.6/10 - Bottle opening capability. Now this rating is the ease of opening a bottle. Obviously all bottle openers are fairly simple and easy to operate. It does take a couple seconds longer to open your bottle with this. It's not as effortless as those simple flat-lipped bottle openers stuck to the end of a can opener. This takes precision, and if you aren't accurate with it, it will slip. I'm just being honest here. It isn't perfect. Neither is the Viking life so I'm not complaining.9/10 - Compliments from friends. There's not one person who hasn't commented on how cool it was or who didn't want to take a closer look for themselves.

As someone who makes all sorts of things out of metal for a job, as a General Machinist, it's clear it's not the material they say, and it's mass produced.In about this item it says 1095 carbon steelIn the product information it says stainless steel Stainless steel is not magnetic this is.Looks like it was casted, finished (could be by hand) and then coated for the look. So mass produced, hand cleanup and then mass coated. That seems to be mass produced to me, not hand crafted.Besides for those outright lies, there's nothing wrong with it, it opens bottles fine. Could have not rounded the blade as much so it could double as a letter/box opener.3 stars since it does what it's supposed to, looks nice, but the company tries to say it's hand crafted when it's clear to me it's mass produced.

Great solid little thing. It has a good weight to it and opens a bottle beautifully.

Sehr cooles Teil,Gut verarbeitet und in einem schönen Leinenbeutel.Das Metall ist geschwärzt.Habe die Klinge geschliffen und es kommt ein schicker Glanz zum Vorschein. Ich denke es ist Stahl.Am Ende des Stiels ist ein Loch für ein Lederband.Auf jeden Fall auch ein schönes Geschenk für einen Freund.
