I was looking for a 22” borderless monitor with built in speaker to fit my crowded desk. There are several models from Viewsonic, pricing from 115 -150, since I will use this as a 3rd monitor for office work, thus no need for gaming or image perfection. Am also ok for just HDMI port w/o DP.Connection is simple but the screen won’t come up until I found the power button at the very back of the panel, why not on the bottom or side? Expecting a little light on when power cable plugged in. I have to say, putting those buttons at back is not convenient at all, you have to keep aligning the button you are pressing with options in the screen. The worse part is without a proper input, the manual seems not be able to show up, seriously? That’s dumb.Now talk about the performance or quality. The color is not that rich compared to my Levono laptop and Dell monitor, the green is different than my other2. The white seems to be greyish a bit even I increase the brightness, maybe I need a little tweak. The black border of the monitor is thicker than my Dell monitor even it’s called thin bezelsThe speakers(2x2W) are not better than those from my laptop as the sound becomes choppy when volume goes up, that’s reason I buy it, another reason is VESA holes are in upper portion so monitor stays lower to fit my shelf above desk.I don’t recommend this monitor if you don’t need speakers or higher vesa mount location.

Aside from it working out of the box, I have one complaint and that has to do with the fact that the polarizer can be peeled off and there was no warning about it ANYWHERE... I already found that out too late hence why it's taped on the top left corner.I asked a few friends and they agreed

Purchased for a low usage (once a week, 2 hours) monitor, image is OK, brightness is low, off angle (side) viewing is very poor. Not an issue for our use, but not recommended for critical viewing or viewing at an angle, as the price is low, and you're getting what you paid for.

It is the monitor on the left in the picture, I have been using it for a couple months as a second monitor and it has been really good. turns on quick after pressing the button. It has a speaker that is actually pretty decent the brightness is pretty good and the picture quality is good too. I also got it on sale for 122$ so it was definitly worth the money I have spent on it.
