Been poked once too many times lipping bass while using treble hooks. This saves my thumbs. Gives you great control of the fish too remove the hook as well.

Buen producto. Quería comprar otro pero subieron el precio a más del doble y ni los Rapala cuestan tanto. Tendré qué buscar otro.

I got one of those when it was on sale for just over $7. I used it all summer and would have no problem paying full price for it. It holds very well and does float well .

I bought 3 different fish grip pliers before my annual fishing trip in northern Quebec. The Rapala RFFG9, the Piscifun Camouflage Fish Grabber, and the less expensive 9" red floating grippers (RED-L). All three worked very well with all sizes of pikes and walleyes.The two plastic grippers have the most pinching strength, and the widest gripping surface, but they were harder to get into the mouths of some of the more stubborn fish. The Piscifun seemed the less likely to actually hold a fish because of it's spring loaded jaws compared to the vise-grip design of its plastic counterparts, but was actually the go-to gripper in my boat. The slimmer jaw design was easier to insert in the fish than both plastic grippers, and it held them well enough. All three of them will tear the membrane of the lower jaw if the fish is particularly feisty, but most of my catches left without that added injury. And it's no worse than the many scars they get from being caught in the first place.Once gripped, I never lost control of any fish, regardless of the model I was using. They are all well built and serve their purpose beautifully. My daughters preferred the red one, and is the one used in most pictures.Best value? Red grippers. Best overall experience? Piscifun.

Great fish gripper, easier to use than the boga style fish grippers I have.
