Got this for a fairly large deck project, I am a diy guy not a pro; this thing will likely be used a few times a year to layout larger projects and shoot transit lines on walls and fences.That said, this tool is a good deal for the money. It is too dim to be of much use during the day outdoors, but if you can do your layout when the light is low it works greatHaven’t played with the features much, it seems like most low-priced import versions of more expensive tools. For a couple hundred bucks I now have a layout laser good enough for the few acres I have to work, as long as I can wait until sunset 😂

This is an incredible Lazer level for the price but trying to find a proper tri-pod for it is hard to do.

I bought this to level a 30' x 30' grade for a metal building install. It worked very well out of the box. I use a water level as well and it agreed the laser was spot on. I've already found a few other uses for it since and super glad I made the purchase. The start guide and instruction manual is written well enough to get most people up and running quickly. Hopefully it will hold up and last because I have some property where It's going to be used for several projects in the near future. I'll try and remember to come back and give it a 1 year review
