Three months after having this fan installed by Geek Squad, the computer is giving the message that the fan is not working. The fan should last more than 90 days.

The fan on the laptop died and I needed a new one. Seeing several offerings I chose to go with one that cost almost 50% more than this one cost hoping it would be higher quality. Well guess what... that one started squealing like a pig after about two week so I replace it with this one. The minute I open it I saw that it said FoxxCon on it and I thought to myself, now this one might last. It's been basically 3 full months now and it is going strong and running quiet. Buy this one. It's cheaper and it stays quiet.

When I could not stand the noise any longer on my laptop is took the back off to see what issue was , back removal is about 5 minutes once you know what your doing it replaced my fan total time start to finish 15 min no special tools are needed but have to take care to minimize scratches at clam shell body split. Is exact fit for HP as stated in description.
