So great - the flicker is good and several varieties of options for fade, flicker, etc. You can use them with or without the tubes. And the best part is no batteries! The charge seems to last a LONG time which is what you'd want. 👍

Not completely lifelike flame but looks better in a votive. Good for what I need them for.

I am obsessed with these electric candles. I love that I can set them on a timer and the flickering looks great. My favorite part is that they’re rechargeable, and they come with a charging dock instead of a million cables that plug into each candle like some other similar products.When I first received them, I plugged them all in to charge. Each candle lights up red when they’re charging, and that light turns off when they’re done so you know when they’re fully charged, which is a nice feature. Their longevity is great, for my first use they lasted 8 days (flicker setting, 6 hour timer each night).They look pretty realistic when they’re on, and look even better in tea light votives. I keep forgetting they’re not real fire! The plastic “votives” that come with the candles are surprisingly nice too. They’re hollow tubes (no bottom) which doesn’t look as nice under close inspection, but that makes them much easier to put the candles in and out of them so I think it was the right design choice overall. The smokey gray is the perfect aesthetic choice for the candles too, it makes them look even more real. My last note about the plastic votives is that there is a top and a bottom, although it’s subtle at first glance and most people probably won’t care. They come packaged with the “bottom” side up and the plastic is a bit rougher (completely flat with two imperfections from the plastic mold). I was disappointed in their quality until I flipped them over and discovered the other side is smoothed and looks flawless, much better.I took one star off because the fit between the candles and the docking station feels very cheap. The dock has nice quality metal-plastic prongs, but inside the candles are bare metal wires that go into the docking prongs, and I worry that they might get bent and then the candle won’t charge anymore. I can see why one reviewer had issues with it rusting; definitely keep these away from any moisture or humidity. For my purposes though, they work great, look phenomenal, and I already bought a second set!

Having the remote makes all the difference. I put my lights inside a lantern, and with the remote I don't have to open all the lanterns to turn on and off. You can control the lighting flicker effect as well. When it is time for a charge, the solid charging board takes care of all 12 lights at once.

Ready to use right out of the box. Great value, rechargeable, remote controlled, and perfect for multiple decorating applications. Love the flicking and timer options! Highly recommend.
