These inserts are great! Easy to insert into plastic parts for my 3D Printing business. Great prices as well.

Works great for 3d printed PLA, PETG, and ABS. Width measures 5 mm accurately and I've found that a 4 mm hole is perfect for melting these into. A heat set soldering tip makes installing these a breeze.

So I bought these for a project I was working on and after receiving the package I was very surprised how bad these were. the knurling is so light that there are barely any ridges on the top ring of the inserts, and on the lower ring where there is also supposed to be knurling, most of them are practically smooth. Needless to say it put me behind as I didn't bother using any given the poor quality. Returning these as they are useless to me.

it holds stuff so it does its job, a month later and its still holding up. Had to return the original I got because it was missing a lid but don't think that's Wilson's fault

Items arrived as described. Have not tested every peice yet but the ones I have used so far have been in spec and thread properly. Great for 3d printed parts especially if your part is reletively thin.I have found they sand easily if the width is a little larger than your need and still thread properly if you do it right. So far they have enough grip to stay in place and not strip out. I would definitely let your part cool before adding any tention or torque after inserting them so they do not become loose or wear out the contact points. As well as making sure the hole you are incerting these are wide and deep enough otherwise your material will creep into the threads and will make it a pain to clean out and repair (common with all inserts like this). In this case of operator error, I've had to heat up my screw/bolt with a torch or heat gun, quickly insert the screw/bolt then semi quickly remove the screw/bolt (so the heat insert doesn't heat up and wiggle out) to capture and pull out the excess material on the internal threads then clean off the screw and repeat until the threads are clean enough for use. The only bright side when a little material gets in the threads, it semi turns it into a "nylox" nut for screw/bolt retention. With that said, I am satisfied with my purchase.

So... I find many of the other reviews very humorous and upvoted and marked them helpful them appropriately.However... for a straight forward review... This is the second time I bought this same bucket and I will buy it again as I cycle out my other buckets. First one lasted 3 years.6 gallon bucket. Any coach will tell you this is required. 5 gallon buckets are too short for sitting on during games/bull pen sessions.Seat has better padding than most other buckets I have had.Very sturdy. I've had coaches in the 250+ range sit on my bucket without issue. It took 3 years of 50+ mph fastballs to the side of it year round over hundreds of bull pen sessions/pitchers.Whoever complained that it says 'Wilson' on the side instead of the pictured big red W... that is not a valid complaint. Don't Care. Mine have both said 'Wilson'

I am a roofer. I also do other trades. I keep my hand tools, Pouch, knee pads etc. In buckets. I normally buy the twist on (gamma) lids. 5 gallon buckets won't close with a real hammer. I bought this because stores no longer carry taller (6 or 7 gallon) buckets. I was agitated that I had to spend $20 on a bucket when 5 gallons are $4 at home depot. But the bucket came in today. It's more than tall enough to fit my framing hammer in it, a Vaughan framer. I haven't tested it out yet so I can't tell you toughness. Or longevity. But it's a bucket. Made like any other bucket. I have buckets I've been using for over ten years. The handle grips wear out/ break off. But buckets are pretty sturdy. The seat is nice I never thought of that. The lid does actually come off and on easy. So assuming it doesn't become too loose over time im sticking with the lid that came with it. Im going to buy another one or two for sure. One for each trade I do on the side. If the lid goes bad home depot sells the twist gamma style bucket lids for $8. I'll burn that bridge if and when I get there.Good bucket. Not mad I bought it. Gonna buy one or two more. Great for tradesman/ journeymen who bounce crews and just need to carry hand tools. Recommended. Bonus seat for break time.
