Este collar se utiliza para herramientas de torno CNC y máquinas de grabado. El collar debe colocarse en la tuerca del portabrocas antes de insertarlo en el portabrocas de pinza. Se utiliza con vástago recto, soporte de herramientas, tuerca de barra de extensión; se utiliza para sostener taladro, herramienta de taladro, herramienta de tallado y herramienta de escariado.

Picked this collet for use as a bullet puller for 50bmg along with a collet holder. Works great, though does leave a line in the bullet. Options for pullers made for this is nearly 6x the price vs this collet and holder.

I received the correct collet the next day. It appeared just like the one in the photo, complete with very visible machining marks. There was a pretty good ding above the retaining groove in the surface that mates to the nut. Using my Techniks, tool holder and collets I usually get around 0.0002" TIR. Out of the box this collet gave me 0.001" TIR. After touching up the swell around the ding with a fine diamond file, I was able to get the run out down to 0.0007".I am a hobbyist and therefore cannot afford premium tooling. I consider this collet a reasonable value for money and is adequate to my needs.

I normally think of Uxcell as good, something of a name brand. This time they let me down. After many attempts to explain away the significant run-out I was seeing, it is for sure this new collet. The run-out was over 100um (0.004") which is way more than it should be. Looking closely I see some fairly rough grinding marks on the inner bore (that surface that grips the shaft of the bit) and some dings like an accidental bump into the saw during manufacture in a FEW places. It also felt "soft" as I was tightening it with my bit into my CNC spindle. Not even passable quality in my particular case.

I needed a collet to get from 1/2 inch (12.7mm) router bit shank to 12mm and this did the job real nicely.
