This "up-leveled" dash cam provides extra features to the basic dash cam setup. The kit offers an impressive 2K-resolution forward-facing camera with a wide field of view. This camera also doubles as the control interface, and offers a video screen display. The unit runs on 5-volts DC, using a USB-C power connection, with power provided by an included 12-volt cigarette lighter/power port adapter. While the power adapter will work in any vehicle, it's specifically intended for use in vehicles where the cigarette lighter is designed as a power port (most newer vehicles)- switching "on/off" with the ignition, since applying power to the camera immediately turns the camera on, and disconnecting power shuts it down. The camera does have its own power switch, but a switched power port makes for "set it and forget it" operation. The camera mounts to your windshield using a large suction cup which holds firm while providing adjustability in aiming the front camera. Attached to the main camera body is a slightly lower-resolution rear-facing camera (independently aimable) which records all activity in the cabin, as well as activity visible through the back window. Cabin audio recording can be selected, or switched off, via the on-screen menus. Recording time can also be adjusted between 1, 2 and 3-minute loops, with overwriting of oldest files beginning as soon as the micro-SD card becomes full (unless files are "locked" for protection against overwriting). The system also includes a third camera, which can be mounted on the rear of the vehicle, and connected to the main unit. Unlike the other two cameras which are "plug-n-play", the outside rear-facing camera includes a small red wire which must be connected to one of the vehicle's reverse (back-up) lights for power. When the vehicle is shifted into reverse, power from the reverse light activates the outside rear-facing camera, and switches the main unit video display to a backup camera. As such, this feature is very useful for helping see what's behind you as you back up, but this camera does not function during forward vehicle operation. The system does however record both forward and reverse-facing inside cameras, simultaneously. It is worth noting that the installation of the outside rear-facing camera is not necessary to use the dash cam system. Because of this, the suction cup mounting system, combined with the simple cigarette lighter-style power plug make this dash cam kit easy to take from vehicle to vehicle. As previously-mentioned, recordings are stored on micro-SD card (a card is NOT included in the kit). Such cards must be class-10 minimum, and have a maximum storage capacity of 256 gigabytes. Recorded video quality is very good, due in large part to the high resolution, and infrared low-light capabilities of the cameras included with this system. With all the "up-level" features in this system, it's easy to forget it's still a basic dash cam... one thing this system does not offer is GPS location capability. Overall, this is an excellent basic dash cam system, offering easy setup, simple operation, portability, and high-quality video.

Lo conecté para probarlo unos 15 minutos aunque la calidad de las 3 cámaras son buenas y el menú fácil de navegar , lo que me ha preocupado es que en ese corto tiempo la pantalla ha calentando mucho. Espero que cuando lo instale de forma definitiva y lo use más tiempo, con el aire acondicionado o con el viento entrando por las ventanas, el recalentamiento sea mucho menor .En unos días actualizaré la información, será para darle más estrellas o para lamentablemente confirmar el problema del recalentamiento

The TL:DR of it is the dashcam appears to be working now. I'm not saying don't buy it, I'm saying consider my experience before you do.After a month's usage, a downgrade to 4 to 2.5 stars was necessary.First and foremost, make sure your memory card is modern with a speed of Class 10. If it's anything less, the cam won't record continuously. The documentation says that it SUPPORTS UP TO Class 10, but doesn't specify that it REQUIRES IT.Another reason for the downgrade is the inexplicable behavior of the status light intermittently flashing green for no obvious reason. As best as I can tell, it's still recording but is it about to stop? Power down? Is someone attempting to hack the wifi??? I'd like to know if this is a problem that needs addressing but there's nothing in the documentation nor can I find anything online.Lastly, I returned my original dashcam and replaced it with the same model. Both units arrived with ill-placed and fingerprint-mottled lens/screen covers, like they had been preowned and reconditioned. Should've mentioned it in the first review but I'm saying so now.My original thoughts remain as follows:The front facing camera gives good image quality. Haven't installed the rear camera (yet). The interior cam quality is fine, I guess. I've only used it maybe 3 times.If you talk to yourself in your car, you might want to stop or disable audio recording :)You can use the Viidure phone app to connect wirelessly to the cam and review and retrieve the recordings without having to remove the microSD card. Personally, I don't care for the software, but not enough to remove any points. It just feels slapdash and chintzy to me. Your mileage may vary.Only real concern is that the unit runs warm to the touch. This is my first dashcam so I don't know if that normal or a problem.
