I really like this camera bag but the shipper was terrible. The bag showed that it did not move for 8 days. I emailed Amazon and they agreed that this was unusual. They said if it didn’t update in the next 48 hours they would open a claim and give me a refund. Two days later the shipping information still showed no movement. But, the box was delivered at 1:38 in the afternoon and sitting on my front porch until 9:00pm when I happened to check for updates and it showed it was delivered.Again, great product, poor shipping.

This is my favourite DSLR backpack ever. It has so many little pockets! You can store everything you need in here plus it feels very secure and sturdy for all your expensive gear. The back padding also has a slot for you to slip your bag onto a roll on bag for travel. My only complaint is that the extra dividers that USAGear sells for these bags seem to be unavailable on Amazon.caI have my Canon Rebel T2i, 18-55mm, 55-250mm, 40mm, 50mm, macro adapter, multitude of cords, sd card holder, included rain jacket for backpack, full-size tripod, tripod case/sandbag, charger, flash diffuser, iPad Pro 10.5", 32" reflector and I still have extra room.

Camera gear:Pretty nice! Got this last night and I was able to fit a Canon 5D, three lenses, my GoPro Hero 4 (in a case!), BUNCH of accessories plus a tripod into this. It's not as big as I thought it was going to be, but is as big as my current laptop bag (a Thule). Don't read me wrong here - it isn't small. This is pretty much standard backpack size. I just thought, from the picture, that I was going to be dealing with an oversized bag. I was willing to deal with that, but am actually pretty glad it is the size it is. The padding in the camera section is pretty customizable, and unlike so many backpacks I've owned - the BOTTOM panel is padded too. This means I can set it down without pretending I'm putting a baby in a crib.Laptop:Holds my MacBook Pro 15" without a sweat. I'm not a fan of the side entry pocket, but it does the trick. Seems sufficiently padded all around.Overall Impressions:This is a very economical and well thought-out camera bag with some nice features and is a great upgrade from my small camera bag. Looks very nice. I wouldn't call it "super-stylish" but does retain a nice dignity to it. Doesn't immediately scream "I'm filled with cameras! Steal me!" unless you have a tripod on the side. One thing: I don't have anything to back this up other than five minutes of experience here: Be careful about overstuffing this one - the zippers are decent, but not hardcore. I can see that overstuffing could put undue strain on the zippers and potentially cause them to fail. Keep it classy, and you shouldn't have an issue. I haven't tried the sling option yet, but it looks pretty simple to set up.I plan to take this traveling soon, and will update the review if I notice anything particularly suitable/unsuitable for that situation. For example - I'm hoping it fits nicely under an airplane seat. The top pockets seem well-designed for easy access to headphones, etc. in that situation. If I had one wish it was that the zippers were more hardcore and were taped seam. I can have those things if I buy a more expensive bag, I know. I also wish that the side-entry camera pocket zippers were lockable. If this pocket finds its way open either through walking or, ahem, folks you don't know, it could mean an expensive loss. I'll probably work some sort of zip-tie action on it.

I had looked at a few bags locally before deciding on this one. I needed a good camera bag and I needed it hold a lot of stuff. I don't always need it to be a back pack, but I liked the feature and the option to have it hold my tripod seemed excellent. So now that it has arrived and I've looked it over, this is a really nice quality bag. It's going to last me a really long time. I read another review that said it was poorly constructed and I just don't agree. The materials is sturdy, the zippers are well made and the straps are strong. It's not military grade durable by any stretch of the imagination, but it's as much or more than I expected it to be at this price.Personally, I'm not going to use this bag for hiking very often, and If I did, I might opt for something smaller that could carry less. This bag can carry a lot of stuff, including a laptop, so its a little bit larger than the typical hiking camera pack. The design is just about perfect. It holds a lot of stuff and the compartments are very functional. I looked at a few bags that had compartments that I will simply never use. I'll have a use for all the compartments in this bag. They didn't put pockets into it just for the sake of doing so, as some of the other bag companies have done. I was concerned that the laptop carrying compartment might take up too much room, but they did a good job with that. If you don't use the laptop pouch, you won't notice its there. Another reviewer commented that they could have done a better job securing the camera compartment. I would agree that it they could have padded it better, but I'm not planning on throwing this bag around, so its not a concern to me. If I did plan on the bag getting tossed around, I wouldn't pick this bag.About the tripod holder. My tripod is a sunpak 7000TM, which is on the larger & heavier side of medium-sized tripods. This bag holds it fine, but probably wouldn't hold much larger of a tripod. That being said, it holds it very well, and it isn't hard to take out or put back in, and the bag isn't grossly off balanced. I had considered a bag with straps at the bottom of the bag for the tripod so that the balance would be better. The side-carrying design of this bag, now that I've used it, is much better and makes the bag easier to store when your not carrying it around.Overall, I'd recommend it highly, absolutely deserving of 5 stars. If you are looking for a heavy duty, "throw it off a cliff and know that you're camera is still fine" kinda bag, this one isn't for you and you should be ready to pay more money. If you're looking for a bag that will hold all of your stuff, that's easy to carry around and perfect for a hiking trail, I'd go with this one.
