Protective packaging, minimal curling, adequate tear resistance:This thermal paper is adequately protected in its packaging with airtight wrapping. While I would not normally comment on the packaging, protecting the film from premature exposure to moisture could degrade the quality of the film over time, so I thought it important to mention the sealing was adequate and carefully administered. The product does curl ever so slightly, due to the nature of the film being in a roll, but smooths out quite a bit during printing and is hardly noticeable and very on par with most other film prints you'd see. The paper is as tear resistant as described and does not appear more fragile or prone to tearing than anticipated.Overall, this is a good product and I would recommend.

It is misleading to label this 'High Quality' because it is the 'Standard Quality' (UPP-110S) paper, and not the 'High Density' (UPP-110HD) paper. Not everyone is familiar with Sony's S/HD/HG part numbering, and seeing the word 'High' will undoubtedly lead to customers believing that they are ordering High Density thermal paper. Standard density paper is not good enough for diagnostic use, due to its graininess, lack of definition, and lack of grayscale contrast depth. If you need paper for x-rays, or any other kind of diagnostic use, you need to get the UPP-110HD (High Density), or UPP-110HG (High Gloss) thermal paper.
