Premium construction, comes with a nice case and charger..Great concept with the switch indicating by color your battery status..Great materials and construction as well as a very good light source...

We enjoy swimming, SCUBA diving, and “magnet fishing” in our area’s riverbeds, creeks, streams, and the shallower parts of ponds and lakes. Magnet fishing involves pulling a powerful magnet on the end of a thick rope through the water to see what metal items are attracted to the magnet. Since it is currently bitter cold winter, I used our bathtub as a temporary pond to test it. I’ll update this review once we are able to use the flashlight outdoors in one of our local lakes. A dependable waterproof flashlight is an essential tool to quickly examine finds and move on. This UNAGEA Diving Flashlight is lightweight and small for quick handling and switching from the low light for moving around to the bright beam to closely examine a found item. The SOS feature is an important safety feature. The waterproof flashlight comes with extra waterproof o-rings, and the case is waterproof, ideal for backpacking or hiking or boating.

This light is a great option for rugged conditions. The fixed focus beam is fairly tight for casting light at a distance. There are TRIPLE O-rings to seal the battery compartment, and they came quite well greased with silicone lubrication. Spare O-rings and a lanyard were included. I chose not to use the leash since there is a bulky handle on it, but it would be well suited to gloved use underwater.The 18650 rechargeable Li-ion battery comes with a clear plastic protection over the terminals which must be removed to function or charge. Included is a charger with a USB cable, but it is a standard size and voltage which I have better featured chargers for. I appreciate not using disposable alkaline batteries, and this light is designed for a standard rechargeable power cell I have many spares for.The illumination power compares to my daily carry convoy light which lives in my thigh pocket. This light has a larger diameter in the head, and so takes a bigger pocket, or purse, backpack, glovebox, back porch, etc. The color temperature is on the cool side at a claimed 6500K. The power switch doubles as a battery indicator, but only while the light is on. Not for locating the light in the dark.It comes in a waterproof box which fits my cellphone easily, and makes a nice bonus to the package which I wasn't aware of.While the price and size of this light aren't the smallest, the ability to be used 100m underwater makes it a good deal compared to other diving lights. Even if it never gets taken that deep, it provides confidence that it will be ready when you need it.

The UNAGEA Diving Flashlight received is robustly constructed and well finished with no manufacturing flaws found during inspection and testing. Light color, listed at 5500 Kelvin, is in fact a very cool bright white, analogous to daylight. On high power through clear air some spotlight effect prevails until around 40 feet after which the light offers more of a flood effect.One power button cycles through high power, low power and SOS. The SOS does in fact flash Morse code SOS (short/short/short long/long/long short/short/short). My personal preference is to not have a flash feature, because it is just a nuisance most of the time, but that is just my preference. The feature functions as promised on this light.By my measurements the flashlight is 5" long, light end max diameter is 1 5/16" and handle end max diameter is 1 1/8". Weight with battery and lanyard is 6.25 ounces (177 grams). See picture for size relative to a pen.The included lanyard is 1/8" cord and includes a section of padding and spring loaded cord lock (pictured). It should secure the flashlight to wrist or forearm well which will be important underwater since I have to release the light to work under the boat, free fouled ground tackle, etc. To adjust with one hand simply let the flashlight dangle and secure with the cord lock.An 18650 rechargeable lithium ion battery is included (3.7V and impressive 4000 mAh capacity). 18650 batteries are very common, readily available and remarkably inexpensive. However the included battery can be expected to last a long time if treated well. A small 18650 battery charger is included as well. Initial charge took about 6 hours. Charge indicator light on the battery charger changes from red to green at full charge. There is also a battery charge indicator ring around the power button on the flashlight. I haven't used the light enough to run the initial charge down 70% but the listing indicates the charge indicator ring should change from green to orange at 70% discharge and to red at near full discharge. I'll update this review if battery life is either more or less than reasonably expected.No documentation came with the light and there is no brand name on the light. However "Windfire" is printed on the included case. I couldn't find a manufacturer or vendor with that name other than the Windfire store on Amazon. In short, I didn't find a source for docs or more information online. Operation is largely self evident but I'll offer a couple of notes. The light head unscrews from the handle end rather than unscrewing a the handle end cap, as was suggested in the listing. Battery polarity is not marked on the flashlight. The negative battery end inserts toward the end of the handle against a spring contact. The three O-rings sealing the gap between the light head and handle body are lubricated. I believe it fair to guess silicone grease would serve best there since it is waterproof and doesn't harm rubber. Two replacement O-rings were included with the flashlight I received.I will dive in saltwater with this light in the Spring to work under my boat but for now I tested the flashlight by leaving it on at the bottom of a bucket of water for 30 minutes (pictured). The light functioned as expected, no problem. No water passed even the first seal. I will update this review if experience deeper in saltwater causes any problems.A serviceable foam lined plastic case is included (pictured).All indications are this light should serve well for my intended purposes inspecting and working below the waterline or dealing with fouled ground tackle, mostly (usually no more than around 40 feet deep). The light could certainly function as well as any similar flashlight out of the water as well, and I'll probably use it that way. Heavy rain and salt spray certainly wouldn't be a concern.

This dive flashlight feels like it is made well of quality materials. It is a nice weight and size. It comes in a good plastic case to toss in your bag. The flashlight works well underwater and illuminates pretty well in front of you. I don't feel like it illuminates quite as well as another dive flashlight I have that also claims 2000 lumens. Clearly one is off and I can't imagine the other one would downgrade its abilities. So I wouldn't expect 2000 out of this one but it is still decent.
