They blacked out the silver finish at the back of the side mirrors on my FJ Cruiser

If i can do it all by myself ....u know it's was a simple install for a very inexpensive price. So if something was to happen it wouldn't be a big deal to replace.

We have black fender flares on the FJ and these match them perfectly. I added a small extra piece of 3M double sided tape, but the included tape probably would be sufficient. They fit tight and the tape will definitely hold them in place. Previously I had used Plasti-dip to paint the mirrors black, but I didn't get the paint on thick enough. So two problems with that, it's harder to remove Plasti-dip if not applied thick enough and the thin plastic-dip is less durable.I also bought matching door handle covers which I am hoping will stay on with the included 3M double sided tape.

I like the design of this cover. There are other choices, but I like this one because it is different. It fits perfectly over the OEM mirror housing. I did add some extra double-sided tape just because. I really would hate to see one of them fly off on the highway. The plastic seems to be durable and the finish has held up through a few rainstorms. Waiting to see how it does during bug season on the road.

These work very effectively! I use them for towels, kitchen tea towels and tea cloths, mops and brooms, dustpans, totes. They are a great space saver. They're pretty tough so it may pose a problem if ever having to get them off the wall.

I've always wondered how people hang these beautiful fresh long heavy garlands on their walls or over their doors without making holes in their walls. After a little google search this year, these specifically were recommended in an online blog on how to hang a fresh garland without making holes in your walls. Each one can hold up to 37 pounds each. I used 3 for my garland only because of the length and how I wanted it to hang and drape, but not because it needed 3. My cedar garland only weighs about 6-7 pounds. My wreath over the fireplace weighs about 3 pounds. These worked perfectly and I am very pleased with them and these do support heavier weight over the others available on Amazon that are clear.A few things to note for success:1. It is a must that you place these on the surface and let them cure/adhere for several hours before applying any weight to them. If you want them to last, make sure to wait at least 4 hours before hanging/adding weight to them. I waited 5 hours before hanging a heavy 15' fresh cedar garland from it.2. Make sure when applying them you clean the surface well first with rubbing alcohol and the surface is dirt/dust free.3. Apply a lot of pressure when smoothing out the adhesive with your finger all over it and remove as many air bubbles as possible. Kind of like when applying a screen protector to your cell phone display.I did use these successfully in 3 other areas. One adhesive on my uneven stone fireplace, two adhesives on a door frame for an artificial garland, and one adhesive on a very rough surface dry wall that still had wall paper glue on it since I just took the wall paper off and leaving the glue removal for a later 2023 project. I didn't think this would hold up at all on the wall with the wall paper glue on it as it was a very very rough and uneven surface and instructions are clear not for that type of surface. But I was determined to give it a try at least and especially since I didn't want to leave the wall bare and ugly and only hanging a very light weight wreath. To my surprise it was quite strong...I later tested if it would hold a heavy wreath (like the one I hung on my fireplace) and it did but I did need to re-visit it frequently to continue to apply pressure and left that one up to cure/adhere for a longer period of time without any weight added to it. For my fireplace...the stones are very uneven so I just made sure to apply extra extra pressure smoothing as well especially where the stone's surface became uneven and as long as I didn't place one over two separate stones leaving a gap in the middle where the concrete is.I have not tried removing these yet, and not sure if I will. The adhesive is clear and if I just remove the hook and pack it away with my Christmas decorations, you won't see the adhesive that is left up because it is clear and very un-noticeable. If I do decide to remove any, I will update my review on my experience. It's stated to use a hair dryer to heat the adhesive first before attempting to peel off. I would also suggest using a flat putty knife of something similar and maybe using a gook off if the sticky adhesive leaves a residue.I am very very happy with how well these worked out. I feel that other reviewers that did not have a good experience with these, is probably due to either not cleaning the surface well, or not allowing it time to adhere/cure well for several hours before applying weight to them or both. I strongly recommend these and they will hold up as long as you follow the instructions and let them stick for a few hours, and I am so thankful to have found these suggested by an online home decorator blogger on how to hang a fresh heavy garland without making any holes. I will buy these again and in smaller forms from now on for other hanging projects around the house. I'm looking forward to hanging things on my outdoor brick siding and more. These are very strong and durable and I'm very happy with my purchase. I got several compliments on my fresh garland that I put up and I was asked by several family members and friends how I hung all these decorations up.Review of what I love/pros:1.
