Unlike your typical ARCA mount, this one is a little bit tricky because it slides in from one angle and clicks. It's not as simple as sliding in and tightening at any position that you find it in. However, as soon as you've done it a handful of times and realize which end to click in first, it feels super simple and secure to lock and unlock. I have several of this brands, different named mechanism variants, so it gets a little confusing to know what line this is related to. But overall, it seems to work with a few of their different plates, I'm just not sure it's going to work with all of the different named ones sold by this company.

I've been looking for a quicker release version of the Arca Swiss standard plate that would still work withy my existing tripod heads and this is it. it is the same size as the Arca Swiss head while able to be quickly removed when docked in it's own carrier. It is well made and intuitive to use. I will be picking up a bunch more of these to upgrade my other equipment and tripods.
